Original Sony Offer - Xperia Tablet Z General

Just opened my new Xperia Z and found a card from Sony with a code for a special offer.
Go to the web site and there's nothing there.
Can anyone tell me what was originally there when the tablet was released?
Will the site update with anything worthy?

Install Xperia Privilege from Google Play.
It was a £22 Playstation Network voucher (For the UK anyway).

Australian with retail purchased XTZ, When I use the Xperia Privelage app I get the most useless offer of the "pick pic camera" for Xperia, which takes a photo before and after I press the shutter and it let's me choose the best one. Wow. </sarcasm>
Edit: Which I'll add is completely free and compatible with all of my devices;
Vodafone LGE Nexus 4
Samsung GT-p6810
Sony SGP311
HTC HTC One X

American using a London VPN, it shows the same thing for me even when I change EVERYTHING on the device to point to it being owned in the UK.

I'm in the UK, and bought my tablet a few weeks ago. All I get is the offer to download a graphics app, but I don't need the code for that (it seems to be available to everyone). In fact I've not been able to find any way to use the offer code.

Bought my SGP311 when it was first released in the UK and the offer was present. £22 worth of PSN vouchers.

There was an offer in Xperia Privilege that I clicked, it took me to the following web address (no dissappeared), entered my code there.

I typed mine in in my Sony Entertainment Network account (there was a box somewhere to type in promotional codes) and got £22 credit.
To be clear, there were two offers :
One was for a credit on your Sony Entertainment Network account (as mentioned = £22 in UK),
the other was some free stuff through Xperia Privelage.

[Q] Nexus 4 SFR France version

I bought my Nexus 4 via my service provider (SFR France), I can see when I access the play store via the web interface it is clearly a SFR specific version, I noticed that when google released 4.2.2 I received my update a week later once SFR had approved the update.
Im worried in the future this delay could get longer as the phone ages. Is it possile for me to flash the pure google factory image firmware to remove the SFR identification?
I tried looking in the forum for this subject but I could not find anything on the subject.
Any help would be hugely appriciated
Thank you!!
What is it that you're seeing that makes you think it is a SFR version of Android? This sounds extremely unlikely to me.
What does it say about the build in Settings->About Phone?

Don't worry about this, I've also a nexus 4 buy with SFR carrier, and it show the same thing on playstore but it doesn't mean that the phone is SFR related, I've numeros androphone bought carrier-free and on the playstore it always display the carrier SIM i'm using.
It's normal

The main reason I ask is that SFR made a point of saying their team had approved the update to 4.2.2 and would be available shortly (this was a few days after the general release) IS it possible their Nexus 4 has a slightly alter build from google that they approve before releasing it?
What made me suspicious was the fact it said SFR. Before I had a sim free Sony Xperia S and that never said SFR against the operator column.

I still don't believe SFR would do this or that Google would even allow them to. Please post a screenshot showing OS information as per my original reply (and scroll down so we can see build version as well as kernel version).

You've just got the standard OS like everyone else.
When a new version comes out then not everyone sees it immediately (though you can shortcut this via XDA and installing a flashable zip), it can take several days which is what you saw. You were told some standard stuff about Android releases from someone who doesn't understand what a Nexus phone is, hence the confusion.
Sent from my Nexus 4
This was actually publish on sfr 's website that they had approved the update! That's why I was confused.
I understand how nexus devices differ from operate customised ROMs for other devices. I was just worried if SFR had any input when they update was released to device they sold on contract.

Can't you just phone up Vodafone and request the phone to be unlocked?
I did this 2 years ago when I received my HTC One X from O2, they sent me the unlock instructions and codes all free of charge (and this was the day after I received my phone).
Yes, if you ring them and ask for it to be unlocked they will do it free, payg is normally charged but in contract providers unlock for free. O2 even have a website to request the simlock removal.

Hi guys,
Keen to get an XZ, it does seem like a good step forward for Sony.
Anyhoo. I'm based in AU, and unfortunately, we don't usually get the first release of phones unless its an Apple or Samsung. As such, Sony AU hasn't really released info about the XZ here.
For the handsets bought through Clove Pre-order, they would be UK, unlocked, but does anyone know if the firmware on it will support VOLTE? (do typical outright UK sony phones have the software function)?
I have a HTC 10 atm, and it was an asian sourced one, on WWE firmware, I've had to flash this to AU firmware to get the VOLTE setting made available, as HTC doesnt seem to include the setting on WWE "generic" firmware phones, I'm not sure if sony is the same.
I cant really wait for my carrier locally to stock it, and it would likely be more expensive, AND come without bonuses like the headset.
thanks for any info!
Not sure but I'll let you know when it ships. Expected in stock October 6. HK version of Xperia X Performance does not have that option.

Some credit cards automatically deny foreign transactions as a security measure. You can call the issuer and resolve that. Its your card, simply tell them you are making a purchase in the UK, from Clove, and they can remove the restriction.

Same here. I happened to order right before they stopped the 950BT promotion too! I thought it wouldn't arrive until Weds at the earliest and had it shipped to my office. On the brightside, the building is open to receive packages, but I have the day off...ha!
