[Q] How to overclock Defy+ BL7 on standard ROM ?

Hi guys, I've searched quite extensively but haven't found any solution yet...
I have a rooted Defy+ (see my sig for details). I had to flash an sbf for this, but so far so good. I have made quite a bit of tuning, and now would like to overclock & use different governors, ...
I have tried several solutions :
- overclocking menu in 2ndInit : no success (all modifications are just ignored)
- find a kernel with overclocking and undervolting possibilities : haven't found anything flashable, except of course full ROMS but I don't want to go that way (yet)
- use a software like "Milestone-Overclock" or SetVSel : no success (these apps are not compatible with MB526)
Have I missed something ?
Try this it worked for me.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=25887427
At least with SETVSEL from market.
Install it with CWM this will update the bootmenu and will add Twrp and others things.
Then SETVSEL will work.

Thanks for your answer. :good:
I managed to get something workable downloading the 4_clock_speeds.zip from the URL you shared :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25479166&postcount=16203
I overwrote the files, fixed the permissions, and copied some .ko librairies to have at the end the possibility to save some overclocking settings in 2ndInit. There are still some issues in 2ndInit (I only see the first 3 clocks so I can't manage the highest frequency and voltage), but at least, I can play with the overclock.conf file to change the settings. And this works : currently using [email protected] as a max freq.
I'll probaly end-up flashing the file provided in your post to have something more user friendly !
Try to use now SETVSEL from market.

Yeah, that works now ! :victory:
FINEEEEE, my ROM + 2ndInit 2.3 was a no go for overclocking, until I applied the modified 2 files and copied the bootmenu modules to system/lib/modules.
Can you use 2nt-init for this on stock ROMs?

news?
many things has change since the last post, so I'm here to ask..
Anyone interested in porting firefox os to GT-i9003?
Unfortunately i'm not a developer and I have no coding skill, but i'm ready to become a tester
I've read the official article on Mozilla's site about porting
-- I cannot post links, this is my first post--
and , from what i understand, our master dhiru ( search on google dhiru1602 github, it's the first result) has done most of the job.
so, anyone interested?
i've no much experience in flashing( only cwm and a couple of cyanogenmod rom) but i9003 is no more my primary device, so i'm not scared of problems

most likely but will check if what has been changed..still some things has been changed..
I think it's for the leak firmware.

So the leak is no longer a leak but a beta test firmware
README_Platform.txt says it's 4.1.2 !!!
In the announcement i don't see DayDream related apk.
It's for 4.1.2
It says 4.1.2 in the readme.
On a side note: in my projectteam we make people who say "i think", buy us pie or candy. We'd all become quite fat if we'd do that here.
