Hi guys, T-Mobile just got LTE in my area, but I realize that the LTE option went away with the update. Can anyone help me out on how to get it back if it's possible, it will be a huge help. Thanks!

Hi,
have you tried this ROM and settings?
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2267890
There's a whole thread dedicated to this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2211618
Bottom line, you need to downgrade your radio. Additionally, it'd work best with a 4.2.1 ROM, but if you want to run a 4.2.2, you'll need to make some edits to the ROM to be fully compatible with an earlier radio. That thread has a flashable zip to edit whatever 4.2.2 ROM you have install, to make it work with the earlier radios.

Try flashing an older radio like .33 or .27 from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2087227. May cause some issues with 4.2.2 though, backup first and try it.
Thanks for the help guys. Is it possible to downgrade back to 4.2.1 then? Because to save me some time I rather just downgrade and start from there. I saw no difference in the update.

theres no need to downgrade. flash either the .33 or .27 radio, flash this to fix in call audio https://www.box.com/s/h16b3wlrq8op6us7ifsv then change the phone settings to lte/gsm. you can change the phone settings entering *#*#4636#*#* into your dialer or via the 4636v2 app. thats all.

na, ive used every radio on 4.2.2, hspa+ only and LTE. no problems. the only real issue for tmobile users is using a an older radio on 4.2.2 without doing the in-call sound fix. thats the flashable zip that i linked you(or you can do the edit manually).
Yeah I've never had any problems with the older radios, except the no call audio issue, but that's easily fixed. There's even a script you can use so LTE settings stick on reboot.

Maybe you would want to check the wifi sleep policy again.
See if it is getting off with screen lock.

depends,
the scope of the issue is wide,
better just get the wifi drivers,
search in the development section for the drivers
OK thanks

I see that alot of people have probs with the data working due to apn issues is the only thing that wont allow it to work besides kernel, but my ? Is could we just create a flashable apn file to fix that issue until aroma got fixed?

Are they having data issues running a sprint rom on a sprint device?
Sorry needed to word that better, the international roms on the sprint s4 they have to do a apn backup then restore I thought a flashable zip for a universal fix would work.

What's this APN backup and restore you are talking about?
I have tried to move some files to system/etc after flashing omega but still have not been able to get 4G working

Omega V6.
One thing that I noticed is that my phone is unable to pick up my 4G signal strength. It stays at -113 dBm and doesnt change but my 4G speeds are still the same so I'm sure its just an issue with picking up and displaying the signal strength

Is everything working good with the exception of signal strength?
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda premium
As far as I can tell everything else is working. The dual camera is even working with the latest ktoonez kernel on Omega which isn't working on the sprint mdl TW roms running ktoonez latest.
I don't think there is an issue with the actual physical signal strength on 4G, just an issue displaying it.

Anyone had the chance to try out the new Omega 7.0? Gonna give it a go after the download completes
Edit: Flashed v7 but having a hard time getting data working. Any advice. Ive tried restoring apn's from stock.

Yes, because touch control very useful for me. 4.3 not be otherwise than 4.2.2.
I think is because of the kernels

Mine is not just LTE, its just data in general. I tried the fix anyway just to check and still nada. If I nandroid back to stock both 3G and LTE work flawlessly but I have no wi-fi (some side effect of the original rooting process). I am at a loss here, I am trying to avoid going back to unrooted stock.
Hi, I noticed that the Download Booster feature is only available to those who are on 4G LTE and will not work with 3G/HDPSA+
Will this be a hardware level restriction or will it be software? I'm hoping once it's rooted that restriction will be able to be lifted so people without 4G LTE will be able to use Download Booster.
Cheers!
