if you want to make a quick $40 i need a quick .apk - Java for Android App Development

Hi, I have some apps in the Play Store, but they are kind of weak. They are fun wifi hack simulators that simulate hacking into wifi or emails or tracking phones. There is really nothing to it. Please go to play store and search "fake wifi hack" and download that one. I need something just like it. All it is is about 8 lines of text. Nothing to it. I don't need anything else. Just that scrolling text just like his. Thats all. I can pay you $40 for the hour if you can whip that together. Email me at [email protected]

So, you just want the code to make a text scroll like that, right?

yah and...

yeah exactly. I want you to download his on your phone for free search "fake wifi hack" he has like a blue wifi icon. See how its just words, scrolling down like this
tracking..........ip

cracking the code...................................
like stuff like that. but i need the .apk, not just the code cause i don't know how to fully make an app with eclipse. Learning now.
what were talking about here is not hard.
1. Black background and 2. Green text scrolling down. That's it. Nothing more.

[new release] VJSmallIcons II - "Programs" view

Guys, this is an update to my old program VJSmallIcons. To say it's long overdue is an understatement
This version retains and persists settings between folders. It can also make the Programs launcher fullscreen. When you go fullscreen, there is a menu option to permit navigation back up to the previous folder.
On a whim, for no good reason at all, I've also implemented my interpretation of the Vista View Mode slider, as seen here in Vista.
The slider can be used to toggle modes. Even if you don't need the app, try the slider! I quite like it  Hopefully you'll see this again in VJSihaya.

nice unlike the first one, this one works on my device %)
the slider's a bit silly, I suppose, but kinda cute
( are you supposed to be able to drag it? only seems to respond to taps )
However... I just got stuck in a subdir :x VJSmallIconsII disappeared, and tapping 'OK' (which normally goes a dir up) did nothing. Not sure what I did to get in that state. Edit: Found it, check follow-up posts
and a suggestion... the 'go up one level' bit, perhaps it should carry the name of the level above, instead of the current level?
bug report.. if you run it twice, you will seemingly just be using VJSmallIconsII as normal. But changing any of the modes does nothing. If you exit it, it becomes apparent that you were already running it a copy of it - as that instance with its view (which changes correctly) is still there.
btw - nice UI (not sarcasm.. it really is nice!)
whewps.. now it locked up my device >_< I'll try and repro
yay repro
I have PHM PPC Powertoys installed, so I have a dir structure...
"\Program Files\PHM Tools\PHM PPC Powertoys\"
from a fresh boot:
1. Start > Programs (required first-run)
2. Start > VJSmallIconsII (in program history, still)
3. Start > Programs > PHM Tools > PHM PPC Powertoys
4. Tap VJSmallIconsII floater
result: floater disappears
expected result: pop up menu should appear
at this pont everything still seems fine - you can navigate around, etc.
5. Tap OK button
result: nothing happens, you're stuck at this level
expected result: should go up a level
-----
With MagicButton running - Steps 1-4
5. Tap (MagicButton) OK button
result: device locks up
expected result: should go up a level
-----
I don't know if it's the length of the folder name, or the fact that there's two spaces, or... etc. Can't keep poking at it right now
ZeBoxx: Many thanks.
I'll look into the hang. That's not when you're running it twice is it?
It's hanging because it's subclassing the Programs screen, and if for some reason VJSmallIconsII crashes, it'll take the Programs screen down with it.
It does contain code to detect multiple instances, but it occurs to me that because of the way the window is created it's probably not being detected. I didn't contemplate it being run twice I'll fix that!
Yes, slider responds to taps not sliding  Not sure if I'll fix that! At least for now, it's just GUI...
The folder name - good idea, although it's basically for showing what the current folder name is, if you've got it in fullscreen mode and can't see for yourself. I don't mind incorporating either way, whichever you guys think is most logical.
Bug is confirmed with PHM (I have a similar folder structure). I'll look into it when I get home.

Probably doesn't matter - the hang is just when using MagicButton, so I suspect it's because it's using a different method to 'close' the window?

What os is this supposed to work with? I put it on my 2002 devices and no go. I don't like to try unfinished stuff on the newer phones that I actually use (as phone).
This is a bit off topic....
vijay555, your programs alway seem so slick. You obviously put a great deal of work into them. My question is, why spend so much time on programs that help the user interact with the device when the there is a lack of programs that provide real usefull functionality. I am not critisizing any of you projects, more just pointing at what I see as a lack of things to actually do with a ppc once you have it working.
Hey unable to download this app from your site!
OdeeanRDeathshead: not sure about 2002. It's been tested on Emulator, WM2003SE and WM5. I don't have any 2002 devices to test it on.
Either way, I'd suggest waiting about 45 mins so I can get the buffer overflow bug fixed.
Re the offtopic: I've got a lot of new stuff to write, but for me, I do a lot of playing around mainly as an offshoot of reading. For this app: I wanted to make an app to hide reminders. Thus I wanted an app to remodel the reminders. Thus I wanted to change the button style of the dismiss all button. As a result I thought I'd try the same on the Programs window. It was semi-useful (I never use Programs), so I released VJSmallIcons. I know one guy who used it - it's a small market
Next I'm working on VJToggleToday II. For that, I needed to make a subclassing routine. It was easier to debug that in VJSmallIcons II. So I wrote the subclasser as reusable code.
At the same time, I got interested in owner drawn menus for a TV Listings app I wrote on the PC in VB, which I want to move over to the PPC eventually:
So I experimented with owner drawn menus, and then for no good reason the slider.
So circling back, the subclasser will be re-used in VJToggleToday II, which is a useful app, and the slider will reappear in some form in VJSihaya.
I don't really have time to write "big" apps like a word processor etc. I write what interests or distracts me, or is otherwise being used for research. It's a hobby My stuff is mostly for my own use, or research, but some of it occassionaly might be useful to the wider world, which is why I release it publically. But there are a myriad of bugs and issues in the Phone OS which I like to address for my own use, eg why does it take so many clicks to start a new calendar entry? Why can't we add numbers to existing contacts? If it bothers me enough, I look into my own solutions, more as an academic exercise.
Phew, time for lunch
V

[30/05] UPDATED Minimal Flow for ThrottleLauncher

So here I am with my second customization thread.
After making my minimal dialer skin click I also found that the Touch Diamond interface for ThrottleLauncher was a bit too dark and playful for me.
So I decided to make a modification to make it all a bit lighter and more stylish. And something like 12 hours later, here I am!
Changed almost all graphics and a lot of settings to make it and app that suits me.

Something like Batterystatus can still be run but bus be placed under ThrottleToday
4 On your PPC go to: Start>Programs>ThrottleConfig and select Minimal Flow
from the drop-down box.
4.1 Press "reload plugin" and click exit.
5 ENJOY!
Download Minimal Flow Weather.zip for a lot more configuration and a weather tab!
-First install Mortschript, wich can be found here.
-Then install Minimal Flow V1.0 and after the installation also install the updated version, both to device.
-After installation select the "Minimal Flow Weather", press reload plugin and enjoy! The extended configuration can by pressing "Settings" on the settings tab.
Updated version of the weather version, no more error on load-up! thanks to APBilbo! thank you ^^
I put a lot of effort in making these kind of things, a little donation would make my day!

In my opnion that looks a lot better! ^.^
Anyway, I am stuck on a few things and I was hoping one of you could help me out.
HELP ME OVER HERE! xD
1. More of a simple question to brainstorm about.
There is a tab Contacts and a tab Settings, how do I have to make a 4 letter icon out of this? Contacts is now PEPL (people) and settings is now CONF (configuration). I don't like them very much so please help me come up with another one.
2. I don't want the background to be black and there are two options to achieve this.
First of all I could make a tsk that would have the my own background. The problem with this is that if I make one in ThemegenCE, it would go from flat black bars to the glossy grey ones.
Secondly, someone could explain me how to modify the config.xml from throttle launcher so it would load it up with the theme and cover up the original background. The problem with this solution is that I don't know wich line to add. (the parameter=texture gave me problems because it said the skin.xml was invalid?) I think the tsk option is the best so that people could still use their own backgrounds.
Anyway, atm I am working on replacing all icons wich is 40% done or so.

1. CNFG? PEEP? PPLE? hmmm, i see where the problem is...this is kind of hard. CONF sound really good.
Could you use icons instead of text maybe?

I mean change the 4 letter words to little grey silhouettes or simple images.
As for implementing your background in a .tsk, you need a theme editor program... I used one before but can't think of what its called. Or you could just supply us with the jpg and we can set it as our wallpaper. BTW This looks really sweet, about how long untill it's done?
Ok, I think I will release the wall seperate. Unless someone comes with a solution.
I wont change the text to icons because this just looks stylish
The icons for the settings are complete. Some other things to do but first I need to get me some sleep. Tomorrow I think I will finish it.
Good night.
ADDY or ADDR for contacts.
setting is also a nest of eggs (old usage) but EGGS might confuse too much.

Good night.
just release a background and people can use the allblack tsk floating around and apply the picture you provide as a background through pics and video with 0% transparency, works fine
privacy issue, sorry
PREF would also do it. Though I'm used to CONF by now and realy like it. I hope I'm done with skinning in about an hour and then only alingment etc.
Looks awesome!!! . Really nice work, I look forward testing it . About your questions:
1) For people.... may be something like "PALS"? And for settings...."TUNE"... Anyway I think that CONF is just right .
2) As I see you have done lot of working with the setup I suppose you already know the tutorial. It's true that it's a little bit unupdated.... So, here's how everything is organiced:
- 1rst layer: the background of the today screen back. Will be shown only if the transparency is set to true on the skins.
- 2nd layer: rowbackimage (this one is not documented...). Here you have an example:
Code:
<param name="rowbackimage" value="rowback.png"/>
What it will do is wrap the image to the row size behind it. This image can be a transparent png to show the 1rst layer.
Hope this helps!! If you still have doubts, let me know!!
- 3rd layer: icons .

Ok thanks al lot!
I managed to get a different BG in the programs tab, by editing the skin.xml in skins/programs. But what if I want to add a BG to e.g. the HOME tab? The settings for the home tab are all in the config.xml and when I add
Code:

to it, it wont load it up. Is this because the home tab is cut up into different rows?
If you could explain me how to add a ackground into the main config.xml file I would appreciate that alot.

[UTIL] MobileMonger - Whats using up your Storage?

Hi all,
I have lurked on this forum many times and have found it very useful especially in terms of my recent ROM update issues with my new Diamond .. which turned out to be the HK version - gah! .. but that is another story.
I just wanted to let people know that I have written a tool to show storage space use on your Windows Mobile in a TreeMap. There probably are other tools like this kicking around, but I couldn't find one that was any good.
Main Memory fills up pretty fast on the Diamond if your not careful to install absolutely everything to the storage card, and also set your default save location to the storage card.
The screen shot below is of the app and the Main Memory of my Diamond after I found and killed off the offending files.
Anyhow, if your interested you can mosey on over to the download page: here
Cheers,
James.

welcome to our forum. interesting tool!
Thanks for the welcome
I am curious to find out if anyone will find it useful. I have put it on several phones of guys I work with and they have found all sorts of garbage clogging up their phones.
Will give it a few days - maybe some people will try it out.
J.
thank you for the app/tool!
working fine and showing all...
in yr pic i can see you are using the app in portrait but it takes all the screen.
warning: this app is better viewed in landscape. this mean i have to stop tf3d and rotate the screen or use the gtool....in portrait the app is 1/3 of the screen. anything i should know? vga/qga related?
i can not see any garbage but this might be as a result of intensive use of SkTools and it's cleaning tools.
opera is a monster in device and iGO8 is the champion on my internal memory.
i'll take a better look in the evening.
Thanks for trying it out!
Yeah - I'm not handling the switch to landscape mode, however if you start the app while already in landscape mode it should be fine.
I'm using the HTC stock ROM in my Diamond so I'm not really sure how to disable TF3D and change into Landscape. However its fairly easy to change the code to handle the event and have it recalc for the new dimensions. Will put it in 1.1! Shouldn't take long
Cheers,
J.
thank you
will try this out on the rom im using when i get home later
Oh yeah - and something that is probably not obvious to everyone is that you can click on the folders to zoom-in and take a closer look at the folder contents.
Maybe I should underline the folder names or colour them blue or something ... Hmmm.. will have a think about that.

lol i already tried with no success! maybe because is too small (1/3 of the screen).
btw, disabling tf3d is easy. go to settings/personal/today/items and disable the tf3d like any other plug in . after that you''l have the "old" today screen.
go to settings/system/screen and rotate yr screen.
i did the above, rotate the screen and open yr app but again i got only 1/3 of the screen!

Thanks for telling me about the Setting->Today->Items. That did indeed turn off TF3D, but then on the Settings->System->Screen couldn't find the screen rotate thing. There are three tabs (Alignment, Clear Type, Text Size) - It is 1am here, perhaps it will be there in the morning.

i have 3 tabs also: general, clear type, text size.
on general you have on the top of the tab "orientation" with 2 options "portrait" and "landscape" and underneath you have "align screen".
ye, sure try again after a good sleep..lol
interesting that you have "alignment" and i have "general" containing "orientation" and "align screen". this is wm thing...why different?
Very nice app, thanks

Hmmm checked it again this morning but its still not there - HTC must have taken it out of their latest stock ROM (I'm on 1.93.831.1)
Oh well - I tested it in the emulator and new version (1.1) handles the orientation change fine now
Can you tell me if it works for you on your Diamond? 1.1 CAB is here
Cheers,

Tried doing the rotation automatically using GSen with v1.1, rotates the screen and app fine but can take up to 15 to 20 seconds to rotate.

Could you try 2 scenarios for me?
- Start up the app and then rotate to landscape before doing a scan
- Start up the app, do a scan and let it render, then rotate.
If there is a major time difference in the time taken to rotate between these two scenarios, then the problem is something to do with MobileMonger. Otherwise it must be something else. Hmm.
Cheers,
J.

Did that and the screen and app rotate instantly.

Doing the above and it's a little quicker, but still takes and average of 10 secs to rotate once the results are displayed.

Yes - should be - I have DPI detection to change the font sizes up for devices less than 192 DPI ... i.e. 320x240. Obviously since there are less pixels the folder depth displayed can be less ... but on the up-side rendering is faster

I got mine pre-release from Hong Kong and since had a difficult time getting the official updated 1.93 stock ROM for it. (It came with 1.34!!!)
3 do not offer the Diamond as one of their supported phones, but I can tell you its works really well (Just have to get the URL for their Planet 3 service - which I have if you need it)
I'm on the $8(100MB) data plan and have push HTML email from Exchange 2007 enabled with full attachments - and it works very well. Small email takes 5 seconds from the time it hits exchange to then hit my phone.

Hi,
is there a way to include an overview about the RAM usage into this program?

[NOW CAB] 31 Jan LocateCaller: Get caller's location based on area code! (US+Canada)

First I would like to say thanks to truburt for creating iCaller, without which this app would not be possible.
We have long awaited an app that will show you the caller's location based on area code. There are no apps I know of that are able to do this in real time, certainly not any free ones... until now.
LocateCaller will identify any area code in the 50 US states, DC, and Canada, and display the caller's location on the incoming call screen!
Features
Works with any area code in the US & Canada
Full-screen caller ID window
Screenshot
Instructions
If your phone has the HTC full-screen caller ID, you must disable it per the instructions here and then soft-reset
If your phone is currently using a third-party incoming call screen, disable it and soft-reset
Install the attached CAB
To test, open \Program Files\LocateCaller\iCaller.exe and call your number from another phone
The app will be added to startup automatically. If you can't get it to work, and troubleshooting doesn't help, simply remove the shortcut from Startup.
If the app works for you and you find it useful, please consider buying me a coffee
Technical Details
LocateCaller is an extension for iCaller. iCaller is a full-screen CID app created by truburt. Since it uses HTMLView, I was able to create this special extension using Javascript. Since iCaller is a native app, the use of Javascript does not hinder the speed significantly.
Issues
If your stock caller ID screen is still showing up, edit "settings.ini" in the program folder. Change sSysCallerWndTitle from Phone - Incoming to Phone - Incoming... Note the dots. Click "iCaller stop", wait 10 seconds, then re-open iCaller for the new setting to take effect.
This app is written in Javascript. Therefore, the only likely bugs are from iCaller or PIE. As such, it may be difficult if not impossible for me to fix certain types of problems.
If you are having problems, please make sure the bug is not with iCaller! Please report a bug here only if the stock iCaller works for you.
You may have to set PIE as the default browser to get this to work.
This is only tested on my Touch Pro because that is the only WM device I have available. It should work on other devices, but I can't make any promises.
Enjoy!
Update 31/Jan
0.9.1 released as CAB installer

sbetten, I would consider making a version available for other countries. I would need detailed info about the numbering systems. Let me know which country you are interested in and I will look into it.

sorry for my english
Does this work based on having a wifi/data connection to check the area code, or is there some sort of list file?

While i am guessing on this i would say its based of a list file which it references when it reads the area code off the incoming call.
I say this because it works for USA only, there is an aplication like what you speak of floating around here that works for all countries(never used) but of course it requires a data connection.
sbetten, I will look into Portugal.
Wizard, as stated this is real-time. All data is in the app itself. No data connection needed.

band, I believe Canada is based on the same number scheme as the US, so it should be easy to just add codes. I should be able to push out an update within the next couple of days with CA included.
i just tried but the default dailer is still coming up...i checked where you said in your readme but i dont think i would need to change that because im using WWE so idk :S
jug, you may have to change the window title in settings.ini to match the title of your caller ID screen. The readme.html is actually trubert's from iCaller... just giving credit where it's due. Also don't forget to stop iCaller and start again after any settings change.

just throwing that out there....lol still love this app truly awesome

Thanks! I miss the Touch Pro's dialer and incoming screen too. Unfortunately the only way I have found to get rid of HTC's incoming screen is to disable the dialer skin too. There is a way to hide the HTC incoming screen through some API's, however it would have to be implemented in the iCaller program itself. I think trubert is working on doing just that, so if you hold tight a little bit you may be able to turn your dialer back on soon. I wish I had the programming knowledge to intercept calls directly. Since I don't, I have to rely on iCaller for that functionality and then implement this on top of it.

Orb Phone Interface Concept - Lock Screen (Updated 2/26/09)

Hello XDA-ers!! Updates Recently Made 2/26/2009 4:20 PM US Mountain Time
I have a concept for an interface replacement for Windows Mobile. I've made a Youtube video showing what it would look like, but the video is just some screenshots that are stiched together to make a vid. If I could get the help of developers, then I could make this a reality.
The Youtube Vid: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91Iw7Z4-Rho
The video is just of the Lock Screen, and I haven't even put in the unlocking animation, just the sliding to unlock thing.
How this interface works:
So, you turn on your phone, and you're greeted with this unlock screen:
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
(Hopefully the picture above worked)
Updated 2/26/2009 4:20 PM US Mountain Time
If you had another program open when you turned off your phone, then your lock screen would have the program in the background instead of your wallpaper. So, if you had Internet Explorer running and then you turned your phone off, the next time you turn your phone on, you'll see this screen:
To unlock, you just drag the Start icon outside of the blue region as seen in the Youtube clip. Once it's outside of the blue region, you release, and the blue region and Start icon will disappear. Then you can begin using your phone. Here's the Internet Explorer unlocked:
The scroll bars in the Internet Explorer are for guidance only. You use kinetic scrolling to get around the page just like Skyfire or the iPhone browser. At the top of the page is the URL bar. Then on the left, in order, is the Back button, Foward button, Reload button, Home button, Favorites, and then other websites that are bookmarked to the side bar like msn, google, xda-dev, and cnet.
If you don't touch the screen after a few seconds, say 3 seconds, then all of the icons and scroll bars will disappear, leaving your webpage wide open to explore:
Yet you still may notice that in each corner there is a low glowing color, representing the 4 orbs. The top left is glowing orange, right green, bottom left blue, right yellow. This represents the four colors in the Start icon, if you noticed. The low glow from the corner tells the user that the menus are hidden but they are still there and accessible. The user would just tap the screen or move the webpage to bring up all of the menus.
If you want to go straight to your phone, then you can just drag the Start icon from the lock screen up to the phone, and it will start your phone. Same with the other icons.
Here's all of the icons labeled for the first unlock screen:
Phone Icon - Displays number of missed calls/voicemails. When clicked on, it shows missed calls/voicemails, contacts, history, dialer, etc.
Messaging Icon - Displays number of missed TXT's, Emails, and even Instant Messages. When clicked on, shows your missed messages, gives other messaging options, etc.
Notifications Icon - Displays number of any other notifications such as appointments, alarms, and tasks. When clicked on, it shows you the notifications, allows you to take action, etc.
Programs Icon - When clicked on, it allows you to launch programs, plus it shows your running programs so that you can easily close or switch to them.
The Orb icons in the corners will always be up in every program unless a program specifies them to hide. The Orb interface will completely replace the Windows Mobile interface. The interface is completely touch and finger friendly.
Go HERE to see an idea of what an incoming call would look like.
I need help to make this interface become a reality. I don't know programming and I could use help with icon design. If any of you can help me with this, then that would be great. I would love to see this interface rise up to the top with PointUI and others.
So write me a reply in this thread or anything. I need the help.
Thanks so much for watching the video and looking at the pics,
Andrew
I like the concept too bad I know nothing about programing!
wow
it's very beautiful!
this looks like it could be a good concept for a wisbar desktop skin
wow!look great!
I'm thinking about trying to get A_C to help code it. He has done some good stuff with his S2U2 and S2P and everything.
Thanks for taking interest in this though, I'll give you guys a beta version when there is a beta

I've also thought about using Wisbar Desktop but I want something that would be a full interface replacement, something thats really smooth, flashy, and beautiful. I could make a quick Wisbar theme, but I want this to be similar to PointUI's original interface.
Developers, where are you? lol. I guess I'll spend my rodeo break learning C++ or whatever you code in. Just kiddin, that would be a long rodeo break.
Honestly developers, anyone out there?
Keep up the hype about this though, it helps.
Thx everyone,
Andrew
I like the concept, it brings everything to the desktop in a very simple way. Though i have a remark. The arrangement should be different in my opinion. The start-menu should be upper left and the notifications and messages should be in the lower right and left corner.
The start menu should be there because in your current proposition you break with the position of the start menu of the OS. If the upper left corner is the best place can be questioned. But by not breaking with the way the OS is structured you are making your desktop replacement easier to get used to.
The messages and notifications should be at the lower end of the screen because they "belong together". By putting them on the lower bar, they will "work together".
Though you could always let the user choose
This seems similar to the TAT concept that Meizu M8 copied (or was it vice versa? I don't think so).
See here for their unlocking ideas:
http://www.tat.se/site/showroom/prototypes_movies2.html
I think the "Boing" one is the prettiest.

Yes the unlock thing is similar to TAT's drag and drop unlock or some of their others. TAT has some real amazing stuff, I think it inspired me some, but i thought of the original design of the 4 orbs in the corners way before I saw TAT.
If only TAT gave us some of their sweet stuff that they design.

That's a good idea for the start menu since it's familiar with Windows Mobile, but my plan for this interface is for it to completely replace the Windows Mobile interface, so you would never see the original Start Menu again.
I haven't thouroughly thought out the icon placement yet, I worked up these rough images just this morning in about 3 hours.
Thanks for the comment, I'll consider upper right!
Andrew
the tat stuff looks pretty nice definately interesting in see how this comes along
ace maybe if you look into some of the code for pontui you might be able to implement this with some work i think pontui is something like html or xml or something like that

I've also considered PointUI. Yet, I think the best way to make a perfected interface would be to write all of the code custom.
Thanks for writing, and yea, the PointUI 2 does have more customizability so I could look into that as an option.

That looks like msn explorer???
That picture that your talking about is the internet browser, which is visiting the site msn.com
Some of the icons used in the internet browser are from Internet Explorer 8, but most of them are custom created. The theme was all created by me, I haven't seen msn explorer for ages.
Anyways I use msn for my mail, so I chose that webpage cuz that's how i get to my mail.
Andrew
even those buttons on the corners look too early 2000's Windows. Not the icons but rather the color scheme in general. I dunno its just my opinion.

Yea I could agree with that, I made the icons in Word 2007, so I didn't expect anything spectacular.
When do the developers sign on? Or are they all busy making other stuff?

I think that if we made this interface a reality, it could be up near the top with PointUI and SPB Mobile Shell!
Thanks for replying and I hope you get a sick phone!
Oh and what do you write your programs in? I'd like to learn some programming too so I could maybe help develop this interface.
So write back here sometime if you'd like to start designing this!
Thanks,
Andrew
