hello i have minix x5. i controlled it with rk remote app with a samsung s advance with gingerbread. non i have upgarded on jelly bean and smartphone is rooted. now the app cant find any devices.. while with another gingerbread based phone it works. there is a solution? thanks
I had a similar problem but I got my phone working with the Droidmote app.
It's working just fine for me on my Galaxy S3 (4.1.1 rooted) and my X5. Have you tried either wiping the app data or simply uninstalling/reinstalling RKRemote from the app store after upgrading to JB?

i have it on my mk808 finless 1.7c it didnt seem to work so im gonna try updating both devices apps and see if it helps

Installed the latest version and it can't see my MK908 rev3 with stock rom.
Only testing with my Desire (4.2.2 rom) as my Sensation is down for the moment.

Anyone has any idea why I can control my 809 ii from my mtk device and not from my tegra? both connected to wifi and both with same version of remote control app.
My working version is 2.0
I tried the newest version I could find (2.0.2) posted on this thread. It looks better than the one I have but it doesn't work on both my platforms.

It works with my Minix Neo X5 running the latest Android 4.2.2 firmware. Please note that you need to have the eHomeMediaCentre service running in the X5 for the remote control app to be able to see the X5. In the eHomeMediaCentre app, you can set it to run at start-up so you don't need to run app everytime after booting.

Did not work for me on 4.2.2. Can you check what version of eHomeMediaCenter you have? My 2.0.27 version does not have the startup option.
RKRemote 2.0.2 and 2.0.3 do not detect the stick. It worked the very first time only.

Wow! News to me. Thought it was only possible on froyo too.
I read through the comments on that site from the link you posted. They say that it only works on HTC devices although someone
claimed it worked on their Samsung Moment. Anyway, I dont think it works for our device. Im going to give it a shot though.

It's good news to find out that its possible to run flash 10.1 on eclair. Bad news to find out it doesn't work on the gt540.
Once i search on the samsung galaxy s spica forum and found out the same thing, but to get it running you had to change some settings in the browser.

Did the guys in the galaxy s spica forum talk about what settings in particular needed changing in the browser?
It was in the samsung i5700 section (i'll try to find the info). If im not mistaken they had to change some settings in the browser, but it would slow the browser. Like I said, i'll search and find that info again.
Flash 10.1 requires ARMv7 CPU. So it'll never work unless a binary is compiled for ARMv6.

I've just rooted ad installed cyanogen mod 6.1.1 on my wife's phone. So far everything works perfectly except that I cannot install anything from the market place.
Does anyone have any ideas as to why this might be?

Which kernel do you use?
Try other aviable kernels- some have problems with native AppsOnSd.
For sure FrozenLake kernel wirks good (download on samdroid.net), Xmister's had problems with this. Can't say how other behave- I didn't test them.

the problem is i cant find a correct HTC keypad version for my phone.....i tried both the latest versions of v.27.... i get a error message '' the application HTC_mod (process jonasl.ime) has stopped unexpectedly"

If you are still looking for the keyboard, go on to the forum post and scroll until you get past the whole changelog then it says old versions. I think it's v.3, says next to it that it supports spica.

It will work once the Q is available for shipping. I contacted Google about it. They said there were still some bugs being worked out but it will be available at launch.

Yes you need 4.1 unless check development forum and see how to change the Q .apk file to work on ICS

I have seen several people say that you need to be running JB to get the Q to work. In the devices manual it says that you need a device running at least GB. Did I miss something here? No way Google is going to release this device to the masses when it's only compatible OS is not even released yet.
I am guessing that at launch Google will update youtube and Play Music to be compatible.

There is a Google support page for the Nexus Q (can't find it right now) that says the current applications only work on JB and the backwards compatible application will be available when they start shipping. I am currently running mandana from 6.2 and gta 3 doesn't work it comes to a black screen after the intro. I've even overclocked my CPU to 1300mhz and it still goes to a black screen after the intro. any suggestions to make this work

Yes, version 1.1 was the one that added SGS compatibility (I don't know if it was officially or coincidently)

I loaded a Infamous Rom and bought the app. worked pretty good. However the ROM was a port from I9505 version and only works with that ROM/Phone. I reverted back to backed up MintJelly ROM and tried to load the app again. when launched it will ask for version 2.4 framework ( which is not on the ROM I have currently ) and when you attempt to load the framework will load but when app is launched it will still ask for 2.4 version software. The developer states in his single entry post that it will not work with any other phone/ROM right now. He will be working on it, but since it is for a specific phone you might need to find a I9505 ROM to load first before you get the awesomeness that is 3Minit to work correctly.
Sorry I want it to work as well but have not found a ROM that I like it is compatible with. Hope this helps some

Darn, guess we have to wait, thanks for saving me some grief! If anyone has had any luck please let us know!
I used it with mf3 update on att. Downloaded the framework for mf4 or something similar with a 4. Not everything worked properly but 95% did.
