curious, does this one have the fixes for the inode corruption like the one from jcscullins?

Hmm, I'm not sure about that. Lemme check with hiemanshu tomorrow (going to bed now) and get back to you.

Does this have the same backup format options as JC Sullins' CWM6 , tar & dup, or just dup? Also, is it compatible with backups from JC's CWM6?
Thanks,

Re: [RECOVERY][CWM6]CWM 6.0.2.7 For Tenderloin 011513
Renamed the file to uimage.ClockworkMod6 and removed uimage.ClockworkMod that was there and no recovery in moboot.
Then renamed to uimage.ClockworkMod as was original and still no recovery

Sorry typo on my behalf when I posted... but went through the process again and it may be important to point out two things... mine wouldn't come up in moboot until I changed permissions to RWRR and also change the "android.default.recovery" to read ClockworkMod6 or when placing this new recovery in the boot folder to just name it "uImage.ClockworkMod" since that already the default name in the aforementioned file.
And yes both tar and dedup formats are available with tar set as default

Re: [RECOVERY][CWM6]CWM 6.0.2.7 For Tenderloin 011513
I've not had any issues with naming it uimage.ClockworkMod6. Though I will look into the android.default.recovery.

Re: [RECOVERY][CWM6]CWM 6.0.2.7 For Tenderloin 011513
Used this recovery and now getting "removed sd card" error.
Sent from my cm_tenderloin using Tapatalk HD

Glad to see the Touchpad is getting put to good use.
Am I correct to assume that this is the non-touch CWM recovery?

Re: [RECOVERY][CWM6]CWM 6.0.2.7 For Tenderloin 011513
Yeah, it's a non-touch. For now.
Now that I have my own team, I might try and get touch working sometime after our first alpha.
Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2

Those having problems with CWM.
Before you actually replace cwm, using the root explorer, investigate your current cwm file in /boot (Spelling*case sensitive & permissions) when you replace it, make sure the file have the same permissions, name etc.. reboot and voila! CMW 6.0.2.7
I renamed mine to uImage.ClockworkMod and worked perfect for me, i guess it depends how your TP is setup.
Hope this helps

Thanks! You don't appreciate stuff until you have downgraded.

No they aren't supported by the CM team yet. They are still in pre beta phase.

I read in another post that this version of CWM only supports the sd-ext so those of you that like romracers recovery can just keep that.
CWM does support ext4 though and it has for the last couple of point releases I think.

Well it defaults to the ext-sd, if you have one. Otherwise, I guess it defaults to the internal. The install .zip. and backup/restore features are all automated now, in terms of you not being able to select internal or external; i.e. if you have a ext-sd installed, and you simply select backup in CWM, then the process starts automatically, without giving the option to select where you would like to store the backup. I didn't care for it, and went back to RomRacer's; more options + colors.

Yeah. I'm having trouble with it too. Will not perform a backup at all. Asking to ensure I have v4.4.0.0 or higher installed. We'll yeah, I've got 5.0 installed!

Are you trolling? Nothing can be bricked, like I said backup, install and restore works just fine and if something goes wrong it will simply not work... Geez -.-' And I did test it already, I wouldst post here if I hadn't tested. I just don't have enough time because I'm working on my SuperShendu ROM.

Twrp rom backup Q

I use Twrp and I have 2 back ups so far. One being the stock TW rom and another being my customized debloated TW rom. I went to create a back up and it failed due to lack of space. I have it set to back up to the 16gb SD card which has plenty of space but then I saw it was going to back up the data(okay that's fine) but it states theres 18635mb of data. Where is all that data!? And where can I remove whatever is taking up that much space. I'm assuming it's from my 2 backups but I can't seem to find it (due to I swear they are on the SD card already) so I'm confused to how it's trying to backup that much data . Thanks in advance!
Sent from my SPH-L720 using xda app-developers app
Get away from twrp its garbage for this device. I've always loved twrp on other devices but not this one. My advice would be restore you stock stable ROM. Format your internal & external SD card. Flash cwm touch 6.2 or philz custom cwm . backup with cwm . then that should fix your issues. Make sure your on the stock ROM before deleting any files though.

Just got back up and running after formatting data and having to odin back shhheessshhh. Damn I wish they would get this running correctly. To do a clean wipe and install in my book is formatting data. Doing even with newest 2.6.1.0 bonks data partion. Thank god cwm touch is stable ( slow as molases to back up and restore) but stable.

Err which base? I think it's a bad download. The wifi here sucks.. So I think I must wait till I'm home. I don't have any flashable files. I download the .tar from the site and that contains a file without extension.. That's the weird part. When I rename that file to *.zip it contains the .img's (boot, cache, recovery, system and userdata. I can't flash the *.zip via fastboot. It tells me something about a bad signature. So when I flash them manually it boots but I only get 13 GB internal storage..

If you have a PC all you need to do is unzip the .tar file and run the flash-all.bat command via fastboot, I think it is the only safe way to make sure all your partitions are going to be correct after it completes. You can't flash .zip files via fastboot.
hope it helps.

These are the files you are supposed to get when you unzip the tar file, if you don't have the flash-all then it could be a bad download, I can upload the file later if you still needed it, but I think you should try, if possible, to download the entire Nexus 10 image from Google again.
