Ubuntu on Galaxy Note 2 - Canonical (progress) - Galaxy Note II General

As I canĀ“t find something on this topic in this section, I want to ask if anybody here knows some news about the progress made with Canonical Ubuntu?
--> http://www.ubuntu.com/devices/android
The Note as well as the S3 were ideal to start this mindblowing story.

Sadly there isno news on the progress since feburary/march.
Thou, they where talking about some kind of release by the end of the year.
30 more days, i wouldn't hold my hands up.

This is what Apple gets right in their Store. Too bad they get everything else wrong.

I reported it also.
On that note, Google should make it easier for people to report inappropriate apps. I had trouble finding how/where to do it, and I'm quite internet savvy. There should be a big REPORT button right there on the app page.

Yep running it now in the German release. S note still has MUCH room for improvement. Wish we had an easier way to suggest ideas to them. Samsung has no support blogs just a lame Facebook page. Hard to imagine a company is big as Samsung with no discussion groups but there aren't.

I treat it as a taunt from Sammy to those who haven't got the update (well most of us)

About Paranoid Android ROM

I'm a huge fan of Paranoid Android, it's on our Nexus 5 and it's great, hover is very nice(like Halo before it). I hope someone can still port for our SP in the future.

New phone

Just have a quick question, I had an unfortunate canoeing accident where a dry bag did not function as advertised and am now back on my old Galaxy Nexus. I can't take anymore of this tiny screen (at one point the biggest screen available on a phone) and slow speed. The one thing I absolutely love though is the pure AOSP experience. If I get a new Note on NC4 am I able to install Eclipse on it? I don't think I can handle going back to touchwiz and my NC2 Note 3 is still not booting....
From what I've read, yes you will be able to install Eclipse.
