Are you ready folks!?!?!

Z have bypassed the bootloader!! Devs are you ready for this new challenge?
Now all we gotta do is wait for a dev to release a complete stable rom whit the custom kernel and of course all cool features like 30fps caps unlocked 16million color thingy and we can finnally really overclock our x10 this such a good news im bloody happy and cant wait for this!

Z made a kernel for the 2.1 ROMs I guess, the cap is removed, hopefully it will have oc, too.

[Q] Lucky?

Whilst out walking the dog I noticed a htc phone facedown on the pavement, there was no body else about so I picked it up...
Turns out to be a wildfire with vodaphone sim and security gesture locked.
What should I do?

Is the phone rooted or not ?!
If not just Hold Volume Down + The power button to boot into hBoot menu, then choose clear storage and choose yes, this will hard reset the phone and it will be as new, enjoy it

Hi, no doubt its rooted. Yeah I know how to wipe it but didn't know if it was blockable by the carrier. Thibk its pay as you go to be honest!

Or you could donate it to ellimeno i think his name is, he needs a new one to work on a sense 2.3 rom for wildfire users

agree with lucastan... If the official dev of MIUI consider it worth, resize the screen to MDPI is a piece of cake for them...

Yeah, MIUI is great and beautiful and I would deffinetly use it if I could, but I think that it simply wont work nicely on our X8.

don't worry, if the official dev agreed to make it for our device... they will surely adjust it first to match our phone spec... they are not just ordinary dev you know?? they know what they must do for user...

Hi guys this is unexpected but. My X8's Micro USB port is almost dead, cant charge the phone or flash stuff with it. Also somehow it hardbricked "itself" so i don't know what to do now. I guess this was the bitter end i would love to stay but my phone don't want to. I'll still try to be active but 90% of my activity was via the Tapatalk app. So dont expect any activity from me. I am super sad to leave this awesome section after a long time. And i'll see you guys and girls around.

I'm going to formally say goodbye too then. I was going to buy a xperia u but I found xperia play cheaper and after seeing what I was looking for on a phone I found play a better option than xperia u. I loved my x8, it introduced me to this world and taught me so much! I want to thank all the work around this forum to all the developers and theme creators! And I'll be checking the evolution on this forum and hope you can all move on from the x8 since its been an awesome change for me! Bye
