Hi,
I tested it and works in all my ROMs PreNoDo, NoDo and all Mango including Mango 7720
But at least you can try, it is safe

Hi, my htc mozart is Spanish Orange branded and in bootloader 4.6 so I can't get tethering as Orange Spain has not issued the update that enables that function and either can't do HSLP to jump over a custom rom as no pre mango official Spanish Orange ROM found out there. Thanks to the procedure exposed here by you I've at least got tethering on my mozart just when I'm going to need it.

Hi,
If you do not care of loosing data by flashing a new ROM then
You can flash RSPL/HSPL and flash any of the new ROMs that support wi-fi tethering
I also use USBModeSwitch.xap especially in places that only windows phone can connect to the internet

You must read carefully the instructions of post #1
It is not that easy for a new user although too many succeeded
You must be dev unlock to be able to load a xap application from your pc to your phone

DFT, on the HSPL/RSPL thread, textually warns as follows:
"WARNING TO ALL: Do NOT use RSPL / HSPL with Mozart 4.XX and other RUU ROMS with MANGO. All WP7F devices affected: MOZART, GOLD, SCHUBERT, MONDRIAN, SPARK! It will damage your device. Not a joke."

Hi,
You have bootloader 4.6.2250.1, so you can downgrade with a signed
ROM version 1.xx.075.yy with
Firmware 2250.09.1yy075.xx and
Bootloader 1.xx.2250.z
But that version of ROM can be found only in the HTC store that you bought it

I installed first NoDo, usb and AC charging ok. Then i installed the Mango ROM, USB and AC charging isn't worked.
Again: If the device sleeping, after I plug the AC on the phone its waking up, but don't charging.

if i want to install this i need HSPL/RSPL but i cant install it because it will brick the bootloader right?
so what i need to do to install this? i aware that i need to install older version with lower bootloader version but i cant because without HSPL/RSPL, i get invalid model id error, any solution to this problem?

which one is the official rom?

i went to htc website and cant find download for the official rom too

Ansar, love your work with these Roms but I have one small question. Why do you insist with putting the English US language in the European Roms. I mean yes we do speak English in Europe but we do not speak American English. Our spelling and use of words are different to the US. Also I know its only a small thing but the .com,.net,.org button should actually lead with .co.uk. Yes I know its not that hard to type it but it defeats the purpose. As I said love your work but this is very annoying for me and probably many others that's why im sticking with the DFT rom for now.

2) I can't sync with Zune anymore. Already got the latest Zune version, but i can't change the sync-relationship, my phone is only a "guest". Even manual sync does not work (drag and drop music at the phone-symbol at the bottom left of Zune). It says "added 1 album" but does not do anything.

I successfully pased O2_UK ROM to Mango 7720 for Schubert, can be seen in relevant forum
It will follow a ROM for O2_UK in Mozart too

Are you unlocked or have been relocked?
Apps for Mango 7720 are quite fiew right now and specific for that OS

the unlock tool shows i am unlocked, when i deploy the xap, the look like deploying but at last will failed, said i need a unlock / plug in usb.
it not failed immediately, but after deploying for sometime.
if the phone is locked, it will show the failed message once i deploy.

Hi,
If the device is dev / interop unlocked then many functions will work
The U2M8107 v1.2 has another CTRL box in system page, the ansar ReLock one
You can try ansar Unlock and then make a SOFT reset
If Xap Loader functions work then is ok
If not then use ansar ReLock to set the device in its previous state

Hi,
I do not have any issues with the battery life of the device
although you can imagine how much my phone is used for development!!
But in case you load too many apps the battery drains more quickly

If not then someting is blocking it and should try with default settings in ie
In case you run through a company firewall there is no hope

I can browse I try even firefox,chrome and even on ie. I only notice just 1-2 second an ip error appear before rapidshare and it just go to rapidshare website with the error stated.

ok the error message are: ERROR: IP address modified (ef166e23)

rapidshare has some problems with certain ISPs

yes, It's under my isp .I already disable it. will try to download again.

I can see that there's: "Languages with 21 CTRL boxes". Does this mean 8107 has all 21 languages? I need Traditional Chinese. If not, is there a way to XAP install additional language files afterwards?

Found a litle bug in the setting:
The lang is not complete from the "InternetSharing" in english and also in german.
Its empty and not "Enabled" and "Disabled" like in the 5.13 ROM from you.
Edit: The step to full unlock have a problem:
I tap "Ansar Unlock" and on the device I see now allredy in the last 20min the same:
"configuring device"
-> "Loading..."
. . . . .... ..... .... . . . .
and nothing else?
Any solutions please?

hi,this is maybe a noob problem,i dont know ^^.but i dont know how to get the u2m8107 on my phone.i run the xap file,but my windows phone device manager wont let me connect to the phone although the rom is unlocked isnt it

Other question concerning your ROM:
I loose my "Chevron Unlock" on my other HTC Mozart after update to 8107 ???
and want now your ROM on this device install with the "Goldcard-Metode". (ansar unlock )
With this metode, loose I all my SMS/MMS and programs or not?
Its clear, I will downgrade first the bootloader and than I install HSPL or isent necessary this step with the "Goldcard-Metode" ?

Hi,
If you have an HTC_Europe (CV 401) you can use the SLSPL for mozart
You must backup SMS/MMS because with any method you will loose it
The steps are
- flashh SLSPL to downgrade
- flash the ROM of your operator that is supported bh RSPL/HSPL
- install RSPL/HSPL
- now can flash any ROM

How to fix Internet Sharing issue
Hi,
I will update the post #1 with a new release of the ROM
Those already flashed can follow these simple fix
- deploy Registry Editor 1.2.0.0
- run Registry Editor (it is down in \Settings)
- navigate to HKLM\Services\ICS and
- change UserProcGroup value 32 (decimal) to 5
The rest are known i.e. set data on. apn etc

hi Carlo. i don't know what rom is more stable, cause i don't use this phone anymore, so i didn't try other roms.
about flashing, there's more than one threads about it. i can upload this rom to rapidshare , if that's will help you.

but how do i install this rom!! when i launch the ruu it says i need a connection between active sync and my phone. Yet active sync is not supported on Windows Phone. What di i do?

Active Sync is used for Windows OS XP SP2 and lower. Latest ver is 4.5 I believe.
