Don't know where to post this really and I can't find any info on it. Does anyone know where I can get the wallpaper from the new Samsung Wave 3? It looks pretty sweet

Thanks. I didn't know whether it was unique to this new phone or whether it was a wallpaper already in circulation (SGSII for example)
Do a google image search for something like:
wallpaper abstract shine or glow
and be amazed at similar great wallpapers.
Sorry, but I couldn't find the exact same wallpaper as it's on the Wave 3.

Though a business phone,why won't have some wallpapers for X1? The resolution has to be 800*480. So guys get us some sites to get them. I tried Zedge,but they made some 320*480 walls,which is useless for X1.

I've got a very classy looking wooden backdrop to mine, which was an picture my daughter took of the floorboards when I was teaching her to use the camera..
Looks great with TF3d over it, well I like it!

(screengrab taken using Mymobiler through wine on an Ubuntu box, who says you can't get wm to talk to linux )
I guess the wallpaper should really be minimum 800x800 px so it looks alright in landscape mode too.
There are some really cool images at http://www.interfacelift.com. You will have to crop them yourself though.

when i put a picture as wallpaper, while using, say, the xperia black theme (or any other theme for that matter), the image looks as if a grey coat is applied. Anybody know how to fix this?

I use PhotoFiltre Studio, its a free program and works great

set the wallpaper via Pictures & Videos instead. Here you get to select the portrait crop and the transparency level.

I took the liberty to give back for all the help I've got on this forum.
Maybe the best thing I'm good at, playing with photos.
So I picked out some photos I had and cropped them for you guys.
These are 15 wallpapers in 800x800 as it was requested.

I really don't understand why froyo has the animated wallpaper. It's a nice gimmick for a screensaver but it draining the battery like hell. You can put it off but then you have a problem with putting a nice picture up on every screen.
Oogh yess, dell had that one right. Let only dedicated app turn when you really need them in portret mode and let's enjoy our 5 inche screen in landscape.
Damn i really wish someone could figure out how dell did this in 1.6 and put it in a froyo rom.
Google had to make just an dedicated screensaver app for the animated wallpaper, not let it take over my phone and battery.
Microsoft has tried it before with an active desktop.No succes.

Don't really understand the problem? You want your live wallpaper turn off? Or you want any wallpaper you set to look correct in both orientations?

I don't need wallpaper in portret mode, this device has phone optional.
If i wanted it to be my primairy phone , i bought a smaller screen, so more portable.
I have the keyboard and icons for LauncherPro but I was curious if anyone has a definitive list?
Also wondering why I can't find the Nexus S live wallpaper. I remember when the N1 came out, you could get it's wallpapers like the first day. I'm assuming it's a resolution or porting issue...

There are ROMs out that have the entire Gingerbread look, as well as ROMs that have the Nexus S livewallpapers, Apex for example...
Hey guys was looking around because I know we all have had problems with wallpaper sizes........I think I found the solution ( not sure if it has been mentioned ....just thought I might help) just try using a programme called multipicture live wallpaper that can be downloaded free from the market........ it automatically resizes any pic to fit and also has options to change wallpapers by double tapping and also have different pics on different screens.......hope I would have helped someone out there........enjoy

No not really, i've posted on here about 10 times that 1610x1280 fits perfectly, people disagree and quote blah, then 2 days later they're back here again winging that their wallpaper doesn't fit.

It seems to use Live Wallpaper. Can you make it work with just regular wallpaper?
I created a thread about this over at tabletroms and I also created a png grid overlay that allows you to center images on the screen. Also I have filmed video tutorials over there on how to use these files to create nd center your own wallpapers on honeycomb. enjoy

I've tried this app...it works pretty good but as the other poster said....as long as the resolution is correct...then it's just nice to have and not a necessity.

any 1600x1200 wallpaper or higher will work just fine.
the actual size is 1980x1408
Personally I have no issue with the image scrolling left & right. It does annoy me though that honeycomb zooms the image and moves it up and down when you go into the apps menu or widget menu...
I posted this solution in the original themes and apps thread; it actually looks MUCH better from a clarity standpoint than cropped oversized wallpapers. Of course, if you're centering and resizing you will have identical quality BUT you will not have a giant black bar across the bottom of your screen when you switch to portrait. If you love switching wallpapers and you use high quality SLRs and such this is the only way to go.

When i first opened my phone to setup the phone, i was amazed by the wallpaper that Samsung used in the post-setup of the phone.
When you choose the languague and the Wi-Fi settings, the phone has an amazing Live wallpaper of an Galaxy.
Does someone knows where i can find this one?

Well, i must say it looks quite good. But unfortunately, the Samsung Galaxy Live wallpaper in the setup screen looks much and much better. Especially the Resolution and the quality of the wallpaper.
Ist it possible to extract that wallpaper out of a Rom?
Its not a live wallpaper its a .PNG and a mp4 video... Edit: link from the Tmobile note 3 forum...
