how to know if my artemis is CID locked or not ?

I bought it in a computer center and separately choosed an operator (Bouyguestel) to work with.
I have no SIM from any other operator to check if i can access to the network. (or i have to ask a friend for it tomorow !)
Is it possible to know that by only entering my IMEI in a specialised website ?
I want to flash my P3300 with WM6 and the latest ROMs.

CID and Network are totally different things. Your device might be SIM unlocked but CID locked and vice versa. If your device is SIM locked. You have to pay some money to unlock it. If it is SIM unlocked but CID locked, it does not matter. You can put any ROM on your device as long as it is alive.

As far as I know a device is ALWAYS CID Locked until you unlock it! and with the Artemis, the only way to do this is to pay some money to www.imei-check.co.uk so as long as you did not pay them to unlock the device it is CID-LOCKED.

So i just can update my OS Rom, but if i don't want to crash my artemis, i should unlock its CID before radio or other Rom update.

Unlock Touch Viva locked to Idea Cellular Network
i also hv the same problem.. i hv a touch viva
its locked to idea cellular network. plz temme how to unlock this mobile..
i tried to install the custom rom 1_27_707_05__B21014 but it says corrupt image..
my cellphone has this firmware..
Rom Version: 1.26.720.1
Radio Version: 03.29.90

Yes this can be easily unlocked. Infact i too had a IDEA locked Touch Viva which i had got unlocked and now using a Airtel simcard without any issues

Can you tell us please which software you are using to unlock the VIVA, and where the software is available?

I too faced the same issue. just google it and you will end up with a link which requires your mobile IMEI number and some cash. If you've managed to pay them, they will send you a software to your mail ID. And with the use of that, you can successfully unlock the mobile and use any carrier. But, i believe there are some other methods to do the same thing without the aid of the cash

I just got an HTC hermes today; the only problem is it is sold by Orange telecom so it is blocked and I cant use my sim card of SFR (France).
And it is with WM5.
Please help me to get a WM6.x (english) ROM for this mobile and please help me; how to deblock this phone??

First off, you need to SIM unlock to the device so you can use it on your carrier. Then go read the wiki (or stickies) and find out how to hardspl the device to put WM6.x ROMs on it.

GENE100 p3400 (old gene ) network problem

hello all
i have a problem i cannot find solution for it
i have upgraded my gene with original rom and after i lost network
i tried many roms ,radio versions but till now it just find network when i search manually but cannot make calls if automatic it can not find any network
phone was locked to mobinil egypt and unlocked
also if any one have dumped rom for mibinil EGY that i can retore i appreciate that.
how this could be fixed

i have too network problem....
i upgarde rom radio but still dont have network....phone searching network all the time plzz help.....is there hardware problem??? plz reply
