After every soft reset the normal Wm6.1 standard is the default again and you have to change it manual to the pcmkeyboard.
Does anybody found a solution how to set the Pcmkeyboard as default?

I have a Touch and installed SPB FSK trial.
I set it as the default keyboard but after each softreset, the touch keyboard is the default one when I type...
I think I already saw a registry hack for this but can't find it...

yup.. sipchange will do the trick. I used it to also set pocketcm keyboard as my default.

SIPchange is a good software but i really need a registry hack for change the default keyboard.
I have to make a CAB file with a SIP keyboard that makes itself the default but don't hide all the others.
Have anyone ideas?

use sktools much better, you can disable and enable all keyboard, or even delete them.
when ever i aet a custom keyboard as my default it changes after i restart my phone :s
any ides why or a fix?

I have this problem too, and even after Finger Keyboard 2, it still changes back after soft reset.
I don't know if we'd need to change that timeout setting. It's not clear how to do that.

EDIT: I got confused. See the post below about using SKTools to do it. That's what I used
10 second delay has worked for me with both the Blackstone keypad and Finger Keyboard 2.

i found better solution.install latest sktools.start sktools.choose category.under maintenance/input methods choose fingerkeyboard as default keyboard and soft reset sexperia.voilayour default keyboard is fingerkeyboard v2.cheers
How do I choose swype as the default keyboard. Every time I reset my hd2, the keyboard changes to t9.

just recieved my replacement hd so got all the fun of setting it up again lucky me, so nothing changed from the default programs, my problem is i cant change the keyboard over to something more useful like keyboard instead of the default setting
of phone keyboard any ideas how to resolve this.
Maybe you just don't have any other SIPs installed?
If you want to change the default keyboard, take a look at the registry setting for [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sip]. "DefaultIm" specifies the default SIP. But be very careful with this, a wrong value here can prevent your device from booting.
You can find valid SIPs but searching the registry for IsSIPInputMethod
ok found [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Sip]. "DefaultIm" dosnt mean alot to me to be honest but havnt been able to locate the IsSIPInputMethod within the regisrty so far and when i do what doi do to change the default keyboard settins?
