Hi there. Does anyone know how I can get rid of the Clock on the top Task bar (I already use SPB Time plug-in) - and replace it with the Battery Indicator instead? Someone mentioned "02 Plus" - anyone have an idea where to find it?
Thanks!
run this program
Outstanding - thank you VERY much! Works great!
I was looking for a program that was able to show me running apps in the taskbar, tray or todayscreen and found Magic Button. I like it very much, but only the icons of the running programs in the upper taskbar next to the startbutton. I don't need the other functions, because I have SPB Pocket Plus.
Is there a possbility to deactivate the Close-Button of Magic Button?
Or are there other programs that are showing ONLY the icons of running programs?
The O2 task manager works by showing all running progs in a bar on the home screen. search for o2plus i think should find it.
I was hoping to find a prog that shows the icons in the bottom task bar...

alternative to Magicbutton
I'm still looking for an alternative but can't find anything. I'm not an expert, maybe theres a way to edit the registry so that Magicbuttons starts without the X-Button-function. I need only the icons of running tasks next to the start-button in the Taskbar. Please help.

Try SK Menu (http://www.s-k-tools.com)
I've upgraded to WM6 on Trinity. Noe Magicbutton looks really bad! It changes the colors of the taskbar. Is there an update available?

This is a Today Plugin, which can show the running apps with icons and some other things like battery status etc. I just use the running programms-feature. You can set the icon size too, which is quite finger friendly
WKTask
WKTask is what you need:

In the official WM5 ROM from I-Mate the battery icon is shown on the title bar and clock is hidden beneath it. Is there a way to bring it down to systray and make the clock visible? Please help.
download Batti v2.1 from http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/batti.shtml and install it on your universal. In the settings for the app, uncheck "Show Battery Icon in Top Bar". That will display the clock in the top bar!
download Battery Watch v1.03 from http://www.freewareppc.com/utilities/batterywatch.shtml and install it on your universal to get the battery icon on your systray!
They're both freeware, so, enjoy!!
I found the answer to the part of my question at http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=Universal_Registry about adding battery icon to systray and I would like similar procedure for its removal from title bar. Thanks for your help I will be certainly using your addon untill I get my desired answer. Thanks a lot once again.
I would recommend having Batti as a must-have application if you like battery stats! The rest is up to you of course, i always prefer moderate-functionality apps to messing with the registry myself! They're small, easier to handle, removable and just provide more functionality that reg-editting!!
I used Batti but it didn't removed battery icon. What happens is that when app installs it is already configured not to show battery icon but the icon shows so I enabled it just to give a try and as a result two icons were shown then I unchecked it and only the new icon went away. The original icon remained there. Registery hack is a must!!!
weird, now i'm wondering how i got rid of the battery icon I'll let you know if i figure that out
That's really very nice !!!!! Figure it out soon please !
Still awaiting response. Please somebody help me soon.
Hi there,
How do I go about hiding the standard task manager icon on the above task bar?
I've just installed pBar and it's confusing having both.
Also is there any way of changing the bottom two buttons on the today screen? At the moment i have them as calander and contacts which I rarely used.
Any ideas,
Thanks
Is there any way to show icons of all running application on systray (bottom bar of the today page)? In this way I can activate them by clicking on their icons.
Thanks,
There is an application called WKTASK which might be what you arelooking for.
There are 2 versions, one of them has been tweaked to work on the HD2 with Manilla (I think).
Use this tool to help you find it....http://www.google.com/advanced_search?q=+site:http://forum.xda-developers.com&hl=en&lr=&as_qdr=all
