Hi everyone,
I'm planning to purchase the Xperia X1 when this is launched in the Netherlands. To hook the phone into my new VW Golf it needs to support the bluetooth SAP profile.
From SE supportdesk they informed my this is not supported. Just now I found this link "http://www.smape.com/en/reviews//Sony_Ericsson_XPERIA_X1-prev.html" saying it is.
Can anyone confirm that the Xperia X1 supports bluetooth SAP proflie?
Thank in advance,
SG.
These are the supported Bluetooth profiles:

Funny, I have always seen SAP settings in al HTC Devices.
And SE even announced that Experia will go into new directions as to how it can interact with a car.
So not having SAP service would be extremely weird.

Well isn't Xperia teaming up with Saab to get a specific Saab 9X Air panel? Completely useless for the other 5,999,985,000 of us who don't own a Saab 9X Air... But I guess somehow they thought it was a good idea.
Ok, thanks for the profile snapshot.
But is the PBAP the same as SAP. I do not see PBAP on the bluetooth site as a supported profile.
Thks.

Wow, that looks awesome. Where did you get it? How much was it?
About stacks:
Try Bluesoleil BT stack, it has many options (FTP, PAN, BT headset, BT stereo earphones, etc.)
link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/viewtopic.php?t=36395&highlight=
or try vijay555's BT stack, it's much easier to understand, and have better graphics surface, than Bluesoleil.

Have fun with testing !!!

In the first post (truedim). Filename: bluesoleil_r2.arm.zip
You will find some discussion about this stack in the topic.
If you have problems, ask me, and I'll try to answer you.
Cheers
I have a Jawbone bkuetooth headset that I use with my Tytn II. Does anyone know of a device I can purchase for a desk phone that allows me to use it there, too? It needs to go between the phone and the headset because my office uses digital phones.
I know this may not be the area of expertise for most, but I am having trouble identifying where to research this. Thanks for your help.
hi - you need something like this
I don't know the seller - i just Google'd.
Good luck!
wow, I was already searching for something like that!!!, has anybody tried it?, Can you answer using bt headset??
i use the plantronics and pair it with both my Tilt and the Base station which is connected to my work phone. when i'm on my work phone and i get a cal on my cell phone i can actually switch between the two.

I had already found something similar, but this one is actually a POTS unit. I need something that plugs in the receiver line, not the phone line.
Thanks for looking though.

Thanks for responding. Do you know if the receiver portion of this will work with any bluetooth headset? I have a Jawbone that I would prefer to use.

yeah, that´s allshare.apk, but i think you need touchwiz of samsung to run it...
there are other apps to do this like imediashare but not the same functionality as allshare
But i think that what i need is te wps button in the wifi settings to connect to a wifi direct device
this is what im talking about... this is htc desire HD samsung galaxy too

hey guys
i found some news at japanese site
i think this is real SE ICS firmware...
So is the .562 firmware older/newer?
it's weird
submit .562 to PTCRB while release .457 as official?
Maybe .562 is for Chinese only, like 2.3 (.69) is only for germany. Some minor changes only, specific for country.
according to the table, based on my opinion that's a certification for the modem (phone, bt, wifi, and radio) ...
take note that on the Design Description was "Sony Mobile with Bluetooth Technology" and on the Specification Name: 2.1 +EDR, that means our we have bluetooth 2.0 and is capable of doing EDR specific bluetooth functions...
So what exactly is this Japanese site supposed to be saying? I mean it means nothing to us really coz Dude March 16 went almost a month ago ?????
Sent from my LT18i using xda premium
I'm guessing .457 was the build sent for bluetooth approval, after which they can't change the bluetooth modules without recertification, .562 was the release build.
device name is Anzu_ICS in bluetooth qualified design detail
new device will release maybe it's gonna be xperia neo L or something new
