I'm working to integrate this app with standard Calendar. I think the better solution is to replace default "new appointment" form with my application when you click on "new appointment" of the Agenda menu.

I'm not sure to understand... (sorry for my bad english)
All the "^" button decrease values (ex. day 9 to 8, houre 12 to 11...) and all the fields (day, mounth, year...) are totally indipendents.

Yes, you are right, I defined that "Cancel" button shuts the application to reduce battery and memory usage.
If is more useful I can change this behavior in the next version, maybe with a messagebox that ask "Close or hide" app.
Maybe integrate it with the calendar tab in manila

I think that as few messageboxes as possible is essential as this app really should help to adding appointments in hurry. No need to click more boxes than necessary.
Maybe the suggested option with adding it to exclude list will be enough to let everyone choose if he wants to close it after every use or keep it in memory.
But again, well done.
What do you think of adding some annimation to the wheel? Like maybe flicking the wheel and showing it spinning through the dates?
The ability to set an alarm or noise and how far in advance to alert of the appointment?
Length of appointments definable.
Reoccuring appointments. Categories. Status. Attendees.
The ability to set the back ground.
Integration with OEM calendar.
These are just ideas. Thought you might be looking for a little brain storming.

I tried to find with WinCe cabmanager but don't find answer which file is contains language information?
I suppose it's hard coded in .exe file and it's pictures...

To make it work with Fabil Action Screen 9 Btn Diamond v6 just make this overpatching:
HCLM\Software\HTC\Biotouch\ActionScreen\App_3\Path and overwrite \windows\poutlook.exe to \internal storage\Program Files\GekoNewCal\GekoNewCal.exe please note that internal storage is directory there you install GekoNewCal and if you install it on device just exclude it from the path that i describe.

The new version of moGo no longer needs the freestyl server. At the moment this most likely will not mean to much to you guys but it means moGo is no longer restricted to the freestyl features. Multiple menus
It is possible to add your own menu. You can currently have up to 4 menus per button.
m1_Menus=3 -- This needs to be set to the correct number of menus you want.
The following would create a third menu for the phone button. Having m111 means it is the 3rd menu. m1111 would be the forth.

Slide to quick launch

Possible problems:
I have built a brand new moGoServer instead of using freestyl and I have found the xmlsocket class in flashlite a little flaky. I do believe that I have found a good work around to make it stable though. See if you have any problems and let me know.
I only see a black window titled moGoServer...
You either do not have flashlite 2.1 installed or flashlite is not associating .swf files. If you have flashlite installed run it and open a swf file manually by clicking open. You can find a swf file in the flashlite folder or moGo folder. Now it wil associate swf files and you never ned to do it again. Restart moGo.

Have you got FlashLite 2.1 installed?
If you have flashlite installed and you still get the black screen open a swf file manually with flashlite by running flashlite, clicking open and finding a .swf file. There's one in the flashlite folder or moGo folder. After thats done close it and run moGo again. Flashlite would have associated swf files with it now so you will never need to do that again.
I'll edit the first post so it has this info in it now.

Have you got the tCallHistory.exe file. It should be in your windows folder by default really. Sometimes yet rarely I have found windows mobile wouldn't launch my call history at all until I restarted.

Yeah I have already thought about that. I think the way I will do it is still have a favourites menu type thing but then have a show all programs button that will launch a list view.
I've had some time to tinker around with this program and I am still loving it. I've used itask animated, freestyl, and several other set-ups and I like this one the best. It works great for my fat fingers and it seems to be very stable. A few thoughts on how to make it even better...

*Bluetooth icon on home page
*More customization options such as:
*Option to remove curtain under the clock on the homepage

Sorry. I meant embedding today plug-ins into moGo so that you could cycle between them. I've seen other programs that do this (i.e. Throttlelauncher)
I use Today Agenda, and it would be nice to incorporate that into moGo so I don't have to close moGo to see it on the today screen. I would rather have them integrated together. Or, you could build your own calender/tasks app.
I also seem to be having a little trouble with the SMS notifier updating in a timely manner. Did I mess somethihg up, or is this a known issue?
EDIT: It works fine if I hit the Outlook icon and then SMS inbox, but doesn't work if I tap the Blue SMS notifier.

I second this request I have been looking for a launcher like moGo that would also incorporate today plugins. I've been trying to get the iFonz developer to do it, but I think he has too manu requests as it is . Having a page for today plugins would be great, then I could have phonealarm and my schedule(schedule = most important to me), on a single page with easy access to moGo. Just a suggestion .
I will have to look into incorporating the today plugins. Any ideas on how you would like this to work? I think I will have to install a plugin to test this out.

The blue SMS notifier button is linked to the same lnk file as the menu item labelled SMS Inbox. If you are having trouble with one you should be having trouble with the other. So i'm not sure what is happening there. The notification is hard coded to use the lnk file too so you couldn't of messed anything up in the sets.txt file.

Yes, you can change all the colors and also change placements of different elements by modifying skin.xml file. It doesn't support using background bitmaps, but i'm planning to make that for nex release.

Actually you can use select image, because it use the same KlistControl code base. Just copy png bitmap to execution folder and name it as select.png. The dimensions must match the dimensions configured in the skin.xml. So, by default it's 228x40.

Few pointers if I may it starts kind of slow it takes about 4 seconds to open it on my kaiser. And the search engine is kind of not finger friendly it,s hard to select a letter with your thumb. I think that bigger letters would do the trick for example you could place half of the alphabet on the left side of the screen and the rest on the right side or introduce the search engine similar to the one present in IContacts.

The slow start time is mostly compact framework's fault, one idea is to let it run on background or switch to WIN32 api... but i did look up Icontact's source and felt it was not my kind of cookie But there's some tweaking that could be done. About the scroll touch, i find it quite good on my touch.
It helps to not really trying to hit right alphabet but instead follow what the on screen indexshower shows, and if it's wrong letter just slide your finger up or down. have to say that i'm not big fan of the idea dividing the alphabets but the Icontact alphabet's style could be an idea...
Btw. out of concept, but does anyone know any free coctail databases? Because i have done earlier a program that displays coctail recipes, but the database i use is something that i can't publish. firstly because i don't have authors permission and secondly because it's in Finnish It would perfect if database would be in XML format.

Well I think I've got too big thumbs While holding the phone in one hand I'm not able to access the alphabet with my thumb. I've tried pressing the alphabet area and then slide it up or down to choose a letter but I end up scrolling the list with applications up or down. So maybe widening the alphabet touch area would do the trick. Also I think that moving the indexshower to the upper or even upper right part of the screen would prevent it from being covered by a thumb while picking a letter.
I don't know any cocktail databases at least not free ones

Installed and tried it. A pgm which works great. Very handy as I do not have every programs set for my iFonz icons. I couple of suggestions:
1) To group pgm names by alphabet, something like iContact. When the scroll reaches a particular alphabet, the alphabet will appear in the middle, more like you're selecting from the left alphabet option.
2) A handy A to Z table like iContact rather than the alphabets tiny-ly arranged on the left.
I can live with the color but if there's skin to select, it will be prefect.

2) I'm going with tiny alphabets for now, but that would be nice option to add later versions, though i have to make whole new control for that.
The new version has the old color scheme and new white one, i would like i have some darker on like on scroll launcher also.. maybe some talented skinning artist in this forum could provide me that I'm not so talented with skin creating.

That's really great idea Anyone know, how to get path for todaywallpaper? I added background bitmap function to alphabet bar, but haven't yet tested it. I have also modifying the list control to support bg bitmaps... I think it would be in next version.

It looks better, but probably consumes a little more CPU (or maybe not..). This version also unloads and switches to 1% CPU use when an application covers the entire screen.
Widgets you had created are not compatible, however I've incorporated your widgets onto this release (proper credit is given on an About option for each widget )
EDIT: Just so you know, I will no longer support the original FEWidgets anymore.

The idea of this first release is to debug the app... as stated on first post, its beta. Could you tell me what widgets are throwing exceptions? (do you have WM 5 or 6?)

That error is shown on the Setup process... it will be fixed on the next release. However the aplication still installed correctly and you should be able to select it as a today plugin.

Errors (but not exceptions)
Using stock ATT HTC Fuze rom, found a few things. First in landscape mode the background doesnt fill the screen (which is fine if there is a different bg for landscape vs portrait in the settings) and all of the widgets on the screen disappear except the lock. The only other problem i've run into is that the diamond clock appeared to get stuck in the flipping animation, went away when I drug it off the screen and then back on. Finally, as a today plugin, there is a space left at the bottom of the screen between the WM border and the plugin. Its the only plugin selected so I dont know why its doing this. Overall nice work from the last version to this one!

For the background, when on landscape (or on any page) select another background using the background switcher, and it'll change it only for that page.
I'll check the other errors, however all widgets drop fine on my omnia..

Installed it on my TouchPro. I like the concept but it is way to buggy. For some reason when I chose full screen, I cant see any of the widgets. Also, the weather widget was not working, and a couple other widgets were non responsive -for example the quick dial widget wouldnt let me add any names.

I dont know if Fullscreen works when working as a today plugin.. its a Flash Lite option that I can't remove from the menu (IThink).
The Quick Dial works for me... are your contact names in english? (using latin characters), what version of flash Lite do you have? Window Mobile 6.1? there is a bug on this widget which when you select the trash bin for selecting a contact, when returning from delete mode it wont show the plus signs but that's all I detected...

It is based on iContact (supbro version) source code, available here:

iContact is used as a "scrollable framework" for applications that have the same look and feel.
iAgenda settings can be found in the Windows Mobile system settings menu. A soft reboot may be required after installing iAgenda before the iAgenda settings icon will appear in the menu.
iAgenda has the usual 5 buttons interface: the first 3 tabs lists:
1 - all appointments
2 - all tasks
3 - agenda view (today's appointments and tasks)
the fourth button starts iContact, and the fifth is a quick search calendar poup.
iAgenda can be localized with the language file located in "program files\iAgenda". By default you find here "english.lng", which can be used a base for translations.

- In Agenda view the tasks are sorted from bottom to top, I would like it if the first is the first to due, just like the Appointments are sorted.
- Maybe it is possible to give the Tasks differtent font colours. (i.e. green for running tasks, blue for tasks expiring today and red for overdue)
- I expected the sliding in Calender view would be the other way around, (from right to left for next month).
- Maybe its possible to implement an active icon for agenda view tab, showing todays date, or the one of the selected day?
- Appointments taking more than one day are only shown at their starting day in the "all appointments" tab, so they are not shown in agenda view if another day is selected.
- Long App/Task Names are not fully readable. Maybe there could be a line break in the details page and the Name cutted of in the overview, so the text dont overlay the time of the appointment.
- One Hardbutton could be used to close iAgenda, ie "red Phone Button"

I missed that horizontal sliding in agenda view is possible. But now I see, it works in the area where the date is shown.
Maybe the direction is just a different association of sliding. This way is ment as a pointing at the next page. I think of sliding as pushing away the last page und pulling out the next
Yes , I would love to see that and the top to down sorting of tasks in agenda view as an option in settings.

1. It is already possible, forgot to mention in "Notes and tips" AND forgot to to change the commandline switches... so they are using the iContact ones:

VGA/WVGA-Users:
The Plugin should work by default - you can change the skin, how you like. In the links above you will find much more skins and Icons.
But very much Skins have no Landscape support - and also new Skins would be really great! It's not difficult - if you look with CHome into the Vars - you will see, that very much different Skins are easy to make.
User with other resolutions like QVGA WQVGA:
First trial with additional setup instructions in Post #23 -> *QVGA/WVGA-Trial AddOn* - then it works on your resolution!
But we need more input: The Plugin can be installed, but there's only one .plg which has your Resolution. So all VGA-Themen - they won't be added to the right .cpr - nothing to see.
But you have the others default .plg-Files in the JMLToday-Directory... and you can add the sections for your resolution and resize the Icons and texts, that it looks nice.

The Program is written in C++ - so minimal Battery-Drain in opposite to 24/7-Mortscripts, complete skinable because everything to change is outside the C++ in Mortscript (but no 24/7 )

We hope with the Multi-Language-Release of JMLToday - which will be made by JML - your Skins could be inside.
You can also looking forward to:
- configurable Clock/Alarm-Path (if U use e.g. G-Alarm, Pocket-Alarm,...)
- Interface for Skinners to add more informations, wherever they are (2nd weathercity, more Appointments, Birthdays,... whatever you like)
- Analog Clock
-...
Notes because of questions:
- The default Plugin is "JMLToday.plg" - for this file we would need the qvga,... as most urgent
- the default.plg is only the hook for ATPluginInstaller - no need to change anything.
- Everything with "WM7" inside Skin-Name is for Titanium7-Project
- Use CHome-Editor from Showaco to see, what informations can be displayed in JMLToday
- switch from Fahrenheit to Celcius -> *klick to #31*
Thank you for your help - I will send working skins to JML and your Skin could be inside the next Releases - feedback is appreciated that we can see, that a skin is working on other resolutions - also new Ideas are welcome.

Sorry if i ask the obvious... is this a Titanium plugin like stated in the title or is it a CHome Titanium replacement with plugins?

But meanwhile you can change it immediately to Celcius:
you will find in jmlmeteo.mscr the line with

- change it to:

@ll: The 5.2 is really great in first Tests - we really need at least the "JMLToday.plg" and the "JMLToday_WM7.plg" very urgent in QVGA and WQVGA (and perhaps in landscape, too)
Please help - we don't have the devices to make it in perfect fit for this resolutions.
Otherwise the Release for all Resolutions (besides VGA and WVGA) must be postponed

I installed the plugin, then a new panel appeared with the setup. I did the setup then CHome refreshed but the new plugin did not show up anymore. In CHome Editor it shows up as the top plugin but not on my screen.
I did try to install it in the default theme for Titanium to avoid problems with compatibility.

Very Cool! Works well. VGA
Only way for me to have English for all the words is to change the Skin to Chelsea.
I like the JMLToday standard Skin better but the Day and Month is still in some other language "French"?
Got the City worked out and weather shows but the icon is chopped on the top.

Oh ok, i tought that if the setup panel appears it should be fine, but well...
I like this plugin. However, I have two questions. On my weather panel, the days are not capitalized. How do I change that. Also, how do I go from 24h clock to 12h clock? Again, nice looking plugin and thanks for any help.

how it's gonna be install, i installed the cab to the phone memory, i click ChomeRefresh in programs/ utilities/jmltoday/ but nothing happens, do i have to close touchflo 3D from today or not?? please someone tell me how it'll work??? my device is diamond also...

Changing F to C for degrees didnt work out. After making a change it always gives an error in mscr file.

Of coure you need to close tf3d... And u need to enable "windows default" from the today settings...

I am annoyed with that too... Tried a lot.. But apparently it picks up the days from system clock...(Atleast i think so)
