Hi all, I have a 20 keys HTC Touch Dual. I'm trying to fix a problem that I find when I use XT9 writting in Spanish. When I click letter a, the 1st priority that Xt9 offers me is "s" when should be "a". Is there any way to edit this priorities and change them?

Again i tried to type some words in the dictionary and again all my words are gone after a softreset!

It is a bug (or maybe a strange feature). Who knows? ;-)
After a softreset normally all words that are teached (new) are lost.
To avoid this. After teaching new words, you have to change the input method to e.g. transcriber and back again to phone-pad
But seriously, You have a wizard, with a full querty keyboard. So why Phone-Pad? ;-)
Hi all, this is a problem that I don't know how to solve.
When I press the ""a/s" button in a 20 keys keyboard having Xt9 active, the first character that appears is "s". This does not make sense for Spanish as "a" should be the first one. Now, everytime that I want to writte an "a", I have to change from "s" to "a" and this is a mess...
Pls, pls, pls... anyone that knows how to change these prioroties?

I had changed touch input to ´´letter recognizer´´ on my Touch HD, but after softreset it will change back to standard keyboard. Is possible to change it somehow e.g. in registry?

Being a proud HD owner for two days now I noticed that the layout of the on-screen qwerty (qwertz in my case) is unfortunately not really "smilie friendly"
Due to the German language using such funny letters as ä, ö, ü and ß, the parentheses got moved to the symbol page.
Does anyone know how to change the 2nd-function layout of the keyboard?
Maybe there is even a chance to not only get parentheses back into the game but also make a whole character string just by pressing one button. Like a smilie key

So far it's only photoshop...

I'm sorry, what do you want exactly? The querty keyboard is one of the original ones. What do you mean by original t9? T9 is original.
If you can't speak english well enough to explain your wishes, just try and type very slowly, maybe someone will understand it!

the windows mobile from Microsoft have simple keyboard and small do not have qwerty keyboard
I think qwerty keyboard an application add to the mobile rom from htc like manila
i had k-Jam and it had a simple keyboard which did not have qwerty keyboard
so the t9 was more useful for me than t9 come with qwerty keyboard.
i mean like suggest four word come in one menu at same time and very smart and fast and save any word i write for futur use.
the problem when the rom come with qwerty keyboard the style orginal t9 disabled
and come with style special for qwerty keyboard.
i dont know if you understand me exactly what i mean

go to settings/personal/input and change the input method to touch input
