exactly my thought... technology is getting really annoying, so hard to keep up. i got my magician last summer when i was in saudi arabia visiting my parents... i think i'm gonna pick up a prophet when i get back.. trade mine in.

But...the XDA Atom appears not to be a HTC device...it's from another comany with no previous experience of PDA phones if MSMobiles is to be believed. I'd wait for the prophet.

ahh...yeah HTC devices are fun but if you do decide to part with one just let me know in a PM, thanks.
Why not just wait for the G1? It's, in all ways?, better than the Herald. Plus a cheap Wing is maybe... 150? Why not just get a G1 for 180 with contract?... unless you're like in the middle of a contract?

What do you mean except the OS? That's the main reason why we all want the G1? Because it's made with Google Android.

I need it for hacking, I don't have any OMAP based HTC's yet, so G1 will not do for this purpose.
(one day I'll get the G1 or similar android HTC, I'm sure)

In the same terrible situation as folks without a confirmed date. sony in my country (Singapore) just did a pre-order for SEX1. But I am waiting for operators to pick it up and offer it with contract so that it will cost lesser. Anyway, i am not keen on what the pre-order is giving.

I finally got my HAD TO HAVE IT NOW Xperia - Probably going to sell it .. Haven't even put it in my purse or taken it out of the house. My eyes are older than I am and with the super great resolution everything is too small for me to read .. gotta whip out my magnifying glasses to use it ..
