Would anyone compile a Android M based ROM? - ZTE Nubia Z17 Mini Questions & Answers

We know that the stock rom for Z17mini is based on Android M, so I think it won't be too difficult to build a marshmallow based ROM
Indeed there are good many reasons for us to use the latest OS, and there are many new features on Nougat and Oreo, However the compatibility of Android N and O and much worse than that of Android M, and many powerful Xposed modules Like Appsettings ,Xprivacy just won't run for Nougat and Oreo, and there aren't any substitutes, and these XP modules are almost indispensable for me.
So I hope someone can compile a Android M based ROM and I'll be really appreciated

A cm13 would do fine

Are there good Android 4.4.4 Roms still being developed?

I am having troubles with software not running on Lollipop, but I am relying on them due to methods and work.
So, Lollipop is not working for me.
Question:
Are there good Android 4.4.4 Roms still being developed?
Currently I have Slimcat installed, 4.4.4 development has stopped.
Second question: which kernel would be the "best"? Stability, features and battery.
Currently I am on latest AK.600. Running fine, but is there a better one? Android 4.4.4 with SlimCat

Have you tried this?
Not aosp, but very small and light if you don't flash add-on and mod
Despite there may be personal preferences using a MM rom I heavily advise against it due to missing security patches. Unlike Linux distros support is dropped by vendor immediately once a new version is released.

Is it possible to downgrade Nexus?

I'm now using Android Oreo, but I'm considering installing unofficial Android system to my Nexus. I'd like to try Android Oreo or android Nougat. But the thing is I'm afraid that my phone may be laggy or buggy.
According to the post for Nougat port, the camera doesn't work well on the system.
So I'm wondering if I can downgrade to my Android Lollipop in case I can't stand the new system.
Thanks!
You can switch ROMs back and forth at any time, just make sure you make backups and always do a clean flash. Custom ROMs are always a subject to bugs so go for the most stable one you can find which would be Lineage OS.

There are many rock stable Nougat ROMs available for mako and you can easily find them on xda. Even some of the Oreo ROMs are stable enough to be daily drivers...
And yes, you can downgrade or upgrade the versions as you wish (that's the benefit of having a Nexus phone, isn't it?)

Is it possible to port Android One from the G7 to the G6?

Heared about the release of Android One on the G7, it looks like its just a stock AOSP ROM, I'm curious if it could be ported, or used in a way to add voLTE to already existing AOSP ROMs for other LG phones, any thoughts?
The AOSP rom is buildable, but its pure AOSP with no mods stuck on android 8.0

I think he's talking about the rom of the G7 One, i.e. 8.1 Android One.

Yeah, I'm aware that there are AOSP ROMs on 8.1 already available, but there is no way to get voLTE and some other weird bugs with 5GHz hotspot and some other things, I was wondering if it could be possible to deconstruct the android One ROM to help solve some of these, or port the complete ROM.

I want to know if someone found an android 4.4 custom rom for nokia 520

Im searching for an android 4.4 custom rom for a nokia 520, because android 6.0.1 is very unstable and android 7.1 very laggy, thinking this nokia has got 512 mb of ram, i think that android 4 is the best option fot this phone.
Android 7.1 works a little bit better than Android 6. There is an Android 4.4 ROM by @thinhx2 but it's more outdated and unstable than latest Android4Lumia LineageOS 13.0/LineageOS 14.1 ROMs.
