Eh?
You've quoted the same phone at two different prices several times, for example:
$229 for the 5.5 1080p 1.8GHz 2GB. 32GB variant(z3560)
$249 for the 5.5 1080p 1.8GHz 2GB. 32GB variant(z3560)
Are these prices your own guess work or have you copied them from some site where more clarification might be available?

It was copy/paste from some guy comment at gsmarena.
I believe that it is a typo and the second group it should be all Z3580.

OK, to be taken with a bucket of salt then

They're taken from this post, I believe:
http://www.asus-zenfone.com/2015/02/asus-zenfone-2-estimated-price-and-specifications.html
Listed as "estimated" pricing, which is dumptruck of salt territory.

If the 64GB 4GB Z3580 model is really $339, then it's "Shutup and take my money!"

Seems like the 5-inch Zenfone 2 model has been put up for purchase on a Taiwanese online store, revealing its specs and price (estimated USD $160). Like others, I found this info on the GSMArena ZF2 comments.

For reference MSN money tells me that
4,990 Taiwan Dollars = $157.79 US Dollars
5,990 Taiwan Dollars = $189.41 US Dollars
6,990 Taiwan Dollars = $221.03 US Dollars
8,990 Taiwan Dollars = $284.27 US Dollars
Who knows how close US pricing will be to this, but it's unclear which model would retail for $199. It's possible, likely even, that the selection of models in other countries won't match what Taiwan is getting.

Did you know web site where can webuy a phone? Because in my contry there is no Asus shop

Wait for monday for God sake.

Aye aye, captain!

Any site providing preorder in india?
Sent from my HTC One_E8 dual sim using XDA Premium 4 mobile app

My taiwanese is a bit lacking, but I'm supposing that this is confirmation that the 5" version is definitely single SIM...
Shame, I'll have to buy a more powerful one...

That asus-zenfone.com site did a translation:
http://www.asus-zenfone.com/2015/03/asus-zenfone-2-price-leaked.html
They left out the last line, however, which appears to be colors. The two left phones come in white, black and red, and the two white phones come in those three plus some others that my translation app didn't quite decipher.
That 5" 720 is a real outlier in all departments. It looks like it's basically a Zenfone 5 (last years model) in most departments. Zero reason to pick it up when the ZE550ML is only a little more expensive.
It's interesting that Taiwan doesn't appear to be getting a 64GB model according to this announcement.

This might be my new phone. Trying to decide if it's worth the upgrade from my One Plus. The camera seems solid, and design and price point are great. Hoping the high end model stays around $300.

Hoping the 2.3 GHz, 4 GB RAM model stays within the same price range as the OnePlus One. If so, it's hands-down the Zenfone 2 over the OPO, for me.

I would buy this model with 4GB RAM but I dont know site where can I buy it and they ship phone to me.
I was allways buy on Aliexpres but model with 4GB of RAM is so expensive.

Because this phone wasn't yet released ffs !
Be patient. Life >> piece of electronic.

Definitely going to get this! Hope it doesn't launch as expensive as the previous two Nexus 7's have though. It's under $500 so hopefully it stays within 30k here too.
Btw, the RAM is 2GB, not 4.
Post KitKat release, android can run on 512 mb ram. So, with 2 gb I am not worried. It also helps in keeping price of tablet down. As long as it is under 30K, I do not mind.

Does anyone know if tablet is on pre order in India as well?
hi
i want to buy n9 as soon as possible.. in India will it launch now or later???
is it better than samsung tab pro 8.4 in terms of reading?? anyone can help ??
Looks like 16 GB Wifi Only version will be pretty fairly priced at 28.9k INR. https://play.google.com/store/devices/details?id=nexus_9_black_16gb_wifi
By my estimate, the 32gb WiFi version should be between 33-35k. Which would be nice, gonna get the sandy gold one.
32gig WiFi is not available .... We only have option. Of 16gig WiFi for 28k or 32gig LTE for 44k
I wanted to buy one, but the pricing is making me think twice. It's way up compared to the previous iterations of the nexus line up.
Sent from my Nexus 4
I want to buy one but not the black one. I want the white one. I hope when they do release the tablet, they release both black and white.

LTE Model is too costly
Anyone buying the LTE version? I was really really looking forward to replace my Nexus 7 (2012) GSM (which i bought @ Rs. 14,999) with the Nexus 9 LTE, but looking the price listed on play store
BTW, How does $599 = Rs. 44900. This is not even that much of premium tablet. Compared to iPads, there is no complete metal body construction or touch id sensor or 64gb version (not that i would buy an iPad, ever).
I get that it has good specs but there are laptops with twice as much ram, 15 times the storage and touchscreen that come cheaper. In fact a roommate of mine managed to buy a MacBook Air 13" at Rs 49,619 during the amazon sale. I think it is priced ridiculously high given the specs.

The LTE models are indeed 44K+ see this. $599 + "taxes" = INR 44900. I initially wanted the LTE version, but I am not paying 14K for that (Heck, I can throw in an LTE Mi4/OPO in there). However, this dude is listing even the 16GB Wi-Fi version at 38K. I mean WTF. I'll wait for Flipkart/Amazon.

I ordered one too from Ali express they have them for $179.99 and I didn't need a coupon code , seller shipped mine next day after I paid

from the research ive done this device lacks support for LTE bands in the US. So at best you would only be able to get 3G speeds

Its not gonna get its processor from outside while having its own processor. Forget buying it if this is your mindset.
For the average consumer the SOC is just a bunch of letters.
The consumers who do look for development are a restricted group.
It´s a good device, though. Too bad about development support.

Since that i like to talk about tech, here i'll list probable characteristics that I've read by informations circulating on the net, in way to discuss about with everyone that could appreciate;
• SoC Kirin 670, Octa Cortex A53, GPU Mali G71 and support to LPDDR4 memories
• 4GB RAM + 64GB storage
• EMUI 5.1 - Nougat 7.1
• 5'5" 18:9 EntireView Display
• a modern design
The price should be around 220-270$, by expectations. What do you think about this new device incoming?
except 18:9 EntireView Display, all other looks normal but yeah if this gets launched in this same price you mentioned, it will definitely be good device in this segment.
LPDDR4 is good add on here and Kirin 670 seems not advertised much yet if I didnt miss much

Absolutely nothing special, it's a mid-range phone and we'll see if it'd be simply an over-clocked 650 or something more, but exactly as you said it'll be a nice device. I'm especially curious about the shape that it'll have, i like a lot the shape of 6X by my point of view

64GB of storage is very nice too
I hope price tag won't be over 220$ that would be such a turn off

If it is, it may be a flop one when market is so high with vivo and mi.
Could be a risk, for a mid-range device the price is already enough in my opinion
*Update due a leaked picture*
A web designer has accidentally revealed the probable price of the device while he was busy preparing the pictures to show during official showcase (or at least that's what the article claims). The picture still have to be confirmed, anyway. Here it is
Thanks to this, is deduced that the phone will have 2 variants; one with 3GB of RAM, that should cost 1799 Yuan (229€ approx.) and one with 4GB, at the price of 2099 Yuan (269€ ca.). Considering that taxes or extra costs are still to be added to the total price, the device could easily overcome 249€ of price here in my country. Honor is following Huawei raising their prices on their devices?

I hope that they won't do the same with the prices of the phones ?
Hi, i looking forward to buy the honor 6x, but should i wait for the 7x announcement? How would i wait the phone to be released in my country (italy) with the national warranty? And, i found the 32 gb version at 200 and the 64 one at 230, do you think the 7x will be around the same price? I mean, not above 250.
thanks a lot

6X is good, 7X will be a powered version of this phone. It depends by your economical possibilities and what you look more when you buy a phone, in my opinion. I had bought mine on Amazon, I'm Italian too and i have a warranty on it, so you'll receive it too i suppose (but this could change by the site/shop where you'd buy the phone). If you read OP, you can find approximate prices, but nothing has been confirmed yet, so keep them as hypothetical prices
This looks good. Too bad I already have 6X.
They just launched Honor 9i today in India with 4 cameras, 64 GB storage, Kirin 659 costing 17999 INR.
BTW Honor 8 is way cheaper now in India at 50% discount till 8th October on Amazon.
Honor 8 depreciated real quick.
Honor 8 is a very nice phone, 50% of discount is a great offer! (Even if i fallen in love with Honor 9 aesthetics)
Even Mate 10 will be an awesome device, the Kirin 970 with NPU treats me a lot and I'm curious about how it will behave with the phone (i'm treated only mentally, because i surely won't buy it)

Pensi che il prezzo verrà mantenuto sulla linea dei 200-250 come il 6x?

Upgraded after 7 years

New Build just finished this weekend

Case: NZXT - H510i Compact ATX Mid-Tower Case
GPU: GeForce GT 640 (reused from last build waiting for prices to drop)
WAY faster than my old build loving it so far. Just need a better GPU and then time to upgrade the monitors. Looking at dual curved 25 inch.

What temperature are in benchmarks do you have for the cpu?
I'm asking cause the CPU has a high tdp and the hot spot isn't in the middle of the die

I haven't run any benchmarks yet, which one should I run? Also the cooler has you set it up with an offset, it specifically mentions the CPUs hotspot is offset so you offset the cooler to cover it better

I'm using an offset as mentioned which gives the center of the heat better to the center of the AIO plate, but not all AIO plates are the same, that's why I'm asking and cause the TDP and power consumption is 105 instead if 65 compared to the Ryzen 7 3700X so you have to deal with higher temps when load neads to be handled.
My GPU is trash so I need a good CPU stress test and I will let you know. Any recommendations?
Also it has been YEARS since I have applied thermal paste, you still put a little on and spread it around making a thin coat over the CPU, or is there a better way?

It appears I need to tweak my system as the CPU is WAY below where it should be.
The Samsung 970 Evo Plus NVMe has a bad score because I am using Windows RAID 1 and not hardware RAID 1, but the numbers it posted are good for what I use this for, programming.
Not sure why the CPU is trash, the Armoury Crate app (came with MB) the CPU temps never got above 60
