He jailbreaked it and installed TrollMod, it turns the iPhone into a Nexus 7 and gives it full hd resolution. It includes an awbveeustroleizawebveaus module, thusly preventing you from understanding wtf was going on.

awbveeustroleizawebveaus module is amazing. I couldn't believe how my iPhone 5s has KitKat on it. But not laggy like android KitKat but smooth as butter cause it was on a iPhone.

Pssshhh no, the A7 chip bests the Snapdragon 800. Plus, iOS is the GOD of mobile OSes. It can't match up to the laggy BugDroid and retina>1080p. Steve Jobs was a true genius and Apple are the real innovators.

Are you kidding me ? The Butt-fly S is only a quad core on paper. It lags worse than a 20 year old PC. Opening apps take forever, swiping and scrolling take ages and Sense just looks horrendous. The 5S on the other hand is simply sublime. A fingerprint scanner than actually works, a 64-bit processor, 1 GB of RAM and it is only 4 inches, the optimal size for any phone.

Normally when I see a thread given 1 star I always give it a 5 star out of habit, but I gave this one a 1 star. I am tired of these threads of people comparing the two against each other. I hate how people are comparing a 200 dollar tablet to a 500 dollar tablet and they expect them to be on par with each other.
It may seem like nonsense but it is a legit question. Best answer is use a different browser. There are tons. Find one with the features you want and get used to it. There are lots of threads about this. Also look into Ad Block app from the market. It really helps in cut down the crap your having to load up and render.

Just to lend my advice, dolphin browser is pretty awesome. I'd give it and Firefoxa try and see if you get any better results. Chrome was just a bit... off to me.
And also, this is not an ipad, and it never will be. While the two play similar roles in our daily lives, they will never be the same. ios is a different os completely and its made out of spare parts of apples LOL. Android tablets aren't going to do everything the same as the iPad. I've personally used the newest iPad and must say I like this nexus 7 much better. Size and weight and screen clarity... nexus for the win

So I just purchase a Nexus 7 tablet, and use it more than my iPad 2, so thought I might as well get the whole package. Tomorrow my SIII will arrive and Ill be jailbreaking.....err rooting after it's activated.!

No I am not kidding (again, sarcasm in case your wondering). I'm thinking of buying an iphone 5 and a boat to go along with it, for when Apple maps navigation routes include a river or sea crossing.
I got rid of my Ipad and bought a Galaxy tab 10.1. Maybe not as smooth but much more functional. Barely even touch my laptop anymore, unless Odin is required.

Anybody interested in the Droid mini?

Looks pretty sweet, but does it really have an LCD rather than amoled? It seems like an LCD would be murder on battery with the active display and active notification features. Anybody else concerned about that. I'm very disappointed if true. Seems a bad oversight, especially since the RAZR M had oled.

If only it were that simple. Lots of things on the web, including people who were at the Motorola/Verizon event, say it's LCD. They even specifically note that the other two have oled and that only the mini has LCD.
I sure hope the picture you posted is correct though.

The "high gloss" finish and capacitive buttons are what killed it for me. I'll probably go with the Moto X for those reasons (plus developer support will be better)

How certain are we that Verizon will get a moto X? I also prefer the matte finish and on-screen buttons of the X, but if it is 4.7in it will be much bigger than the mini.

Fairly certain the Moto X will be coming for Verizon (too many leaks to count. Just Google it)
As for the size, the screen will be 4.7 but the actual size of the device will be comparable to the XT907. Somewhere between the XT926 and XT907.

Verizon's definitely getting the Moto X. Also, as per their August roadmap, the HTC One comes to Verizon on August 1st (but who cares, right?).
By the time my M dies of old age, I'll be ready for whatever the best of the "free" upgrades are. Hopefully it will be something worthy of the crown.

Lol about the One. It will be 6 months old by the time Verizon gets it.

Forgive an old man's ignorance, but what is so LOL about the One?

I've played around with the one a few times. A friend has one and I sell them at work. Now they are T-Mobile so I didn't compare speeds cause I know the m will destroy it. But its very sluggish and unresponsive at times. I'm sure after root and flashing it'll be great but it honestly isn't as good as they say imo

I have a Razr M and am certainly interested in the Mini as an upgrade. I have little interest in anything larger than this size so my choices are limited. I believe it will have a battery of same or very close capacity to the M. Battery life is always a concern. I loved the battery life on my Razr Maxx but it was just too big.

Nothing wrong with the one. I'm loling at the fact that Verizon took months and months to pick it up.

Ask a silly question and you'll get a silly answer
On a serious note, Its a safe bet that the new M8 picture editing functions will be disabled but I think we stand a good chance at getting motion controls.

The double tap to wake will not be included, due to battery drain problem...HTC said that because the M8 have a coprocessor that prevent battery drain related to "idle" display (included double tap to wake and dot view cover situations)...
At least this is what HTC said to an Italian reviewer less than a month ago...

Who cares when we have custom kernels? Unless you weren't planning on using one; in that case, yeah that would be nice.

ElementalX kernel does that beautifully. I'm running it on my stock T-Mobile US 4.4.2 ROM.
I hope HTC keep the Camera APP customised to the HTC One (M7).
The ported Sense 6 ROMs currently use the M8's Camera APP - which does have one of the key features of the M7 - dual shot (camera and video) at the same time.
This was one of the key selling points for the HTC One (M7).
Using a ported ROM, the camera APP is good - but not for video/photos at same time, and you need to switch between different menus to be able to use either the camera or video.

I don't want to flash my phone with custom Rom's or kernels (for now).
But after the Sense 6 is launched and if it will not have that feature I will be forced to do this.

I don't know about all but insertcoin does. I'd assume they do.
Sense 6 gets better battery life and the camera seems to snap pictures faster too. I like it way more than 5.5.

The sense 6 update will probably have no gestures due to it being a Soc feature, though it's possible to do it software based. The ufocus won't be there as we don't have a depth sensor.

Can't wait The official sense 6, already use viper 6.1
